  1. Wow I was about to make this same exact thread. Hopefully someone has it.
  2. I have a '80 S130 and was wondering if the ARP-100-7708 wheel studs that the S30 can use will also work on the S130. The wheels I want use need longer wheel studs plus one on my rear is stripped out. If those will not fit any suggestions for what to use and any helpful hints on the procedure, thanks in advance, Dustin.
  3. thanks for the offer, just wondering if there is anyone a bit closer to ohio to keep shipping down a little
  4. I have a 1980 280zx with about 63,xxx miles on it, the engine is in good running condition. I also acquired a 1983 l28et (110,xxx miles) along with the entire drivetrain, this includes the wiring harness, fuel pump, all engine accessories, borg warner transmission, driveshaft, rear end, also the dash with boost gauge. I woud prefer to keep the compression ratio of the n/a l28e and have it turbocharged, it seems low enough to avoid detonation. I was wondering what would be the best combination (head, block, pistons, etc.) with the parts i have available and what other small parts i may need. I have done some searching but I would like some more definite answers before i take off work to start tearing into it. Thanks in advance as always -Dustin
  5. I know this isn't exactly the place for it, but i cant get any response in the classifieds section. I am currently looking for stock 280zx turbo wheels; after I have now bought a l28et to swap into my n/a 280zx, I thought I would complete the swap with the turbo wheels. I would prefer the "swastika" style but the snowflakes are ok as well. Thanks in advance everybody -Dustin
  6. I'll ask to see how much theyre willing to pay, I'm sure they'll want to see pics before they set a price though
  7. I have had several people come up to me and ask me if I the Swastika wheels since I have a 280zx, they seem to have become very popular with the drift scene so if anyone has some extra and want to make some money I know of some potential buyers.
  8. thanks alot 81zxna you've been a big help, I'll get on that soon, but I need to get my other car ready for a show on saturday and finish polishing my wheels for the Datsun as well, so I'll keep u updated on my progress.
  9. where could i get all of this stuff and about how much will it cost
  10. Thanks I got it off, I found out I need new ball joints now becuase they were ruined, now I just need to get the actual shock cartridge out.
  11. Hi I am new to this forum and really to working on rwd cars in general, I have a 1980 10th anniversary edition 280zx. I just recently purchased tockico blue hp shocks, struts and springs. I was able to easily put on the rear suspension it seemed fairly similiar to the FWD cars I have worked on. When I went to take off the old front suspension I realized it was quite a bit different then what I was used too, I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to remove it and what parts that I should reuse and what parts I might as well replace at the time. I did do a search and didn't find anything that useful. Thanks for your help in advance.
