  1. I would think the vacuum was cause the compressor to stall, wouldn't you be more likely to overspin the turbo in that condition? /I'm violating the 'no technical thinking before 8am rule', bear with me
  2. 85s also have the watercooled turbo, I think they may have changed mid 85 model year. The water lines are easy to find if you're poking around the junkyard.
  3. I think MR2 just has an electric pump (which would be much easier to do at a retrofit application), NSX and S2000 (probably more) have fully electronic racks. Any of the electric/hybrid cars would've had them as well I'd imagine. http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Technical/eps.htm
  4. if there's no kink in the metal, I don't see a problem. It will flatten out when you bolt on the head.
  5. you have a PM. edit: better garage pic. The normal sight: broken audi' date=' broken vw, pile of upgrade parts waiting to go on the Z [img']http://users.ameritech.net/z31t/garage.jpg[/img]
  6. Not mine, but it's in nearby Cincinnati Cincy Z can almost hold their meets inside, that garage is 2 deep
