Yes, 300zx n/a, I have opened it up and it is a 4.08. Now my next problem is the 5 bolt drive axles on the diff. Can I use this diff? Can I just get the cvs from the same car? Maybe 4 inner flanges like on the r230 set up, then I could just find someone to fab 5 bolt comp. flanges. It sounds to good to be true. especially since I will have a hard time returning this diff. thanks again!

Actually, I have been told to go with 3.90 and someone else told me to go 4.10+. both of these people are very knowledgable. I plan to have an rb25det powered 240z. can anyone who has done this motor tell me what gears they liked best. thanks again remember, no attacking!

I have a diff out of a 1990 300zx. is this an r200 or r230. its a 4.10 ratio It also has a 5 bolt pattern for the cv,s. Is there an r230 out of a q45 with 4.10s available, If anyone has answers to these questions, please help, just dont attack me again. I have been told of so many combos diff/cv that I am thouroughly confused. thanks

Once I get some cages out there, Being that my bender and welder are brand new and I havent built anything in some time, I hope to at least pay for my equipment with my skills. I've got mad metal fab skills. I was just born that way. I also have MIG certs so I can guarantee perfect welds throughout. My pricing will be where its at because I know what people charge for cages.

I plan to put an rb25 and r230 in my car.The motor I am going to order from japan and install it with no mods. I later plan to have it built. HP!.I am installing the diff now along with any supension and brake mods. So I am installing the bushings in the r a arms and I notice that they seem to be alittle flimsy. Are the stock a arms strong enough or should I do something. I was thinking of welding up all of the spot welded seams, or is that just a waste of time. now 71 240z ground control konig rewind 225 50 r15 tokico illumina tmc swaybars wilwood f/r disc brakes r230 all new bushings later rb25det with tranny full cage I fab my own cages but I am going think about for a while.It has to be just right. I dont want to go overkill.

I have taken some time to search everywhere for f&r adj waybars for my 71 240z and cannot find them anywhere. I have spoken to people who sent me to other people with no avail. Does anyone have any info on availability? thank you kcd

I have 71 240 that is rust free. I plan to weld in a full cage to allow for a v-8. I am a Ford person and was thinking of putting a cobra motor in it. Has anyone done or seen this done before. If so how can I get more info on the subject?
