I feel the same way, I've been around for over 10 years and don't post that much, mostly because I can find what I'm looking for by just searching the vast amount of info on this site.
Every single time I have had a problem with my Z's (and even other cars) I've always found what I was looking for.
I bought a Hyundai Genesis Coupe last year as a DD and and the genesis coupe forum is horrible.
I love this site and even if I got rid of my Z's (which will never happen) I will still visit this site daily.

VERY cool whoever made that. I think there is another member here who has a similar 4 barrel intake that bolted to the SU manifold.
Unfortunately I cannot tell you who it is, but here is a picture of their car that I have saved on my computer.
^ Hey! That's me!!!
and from the info I've got over the years it is a Clifford piece.

i know i dont post much but everytime i do everybody has something to say about my car
i have been here since 01 and have seen alot of assholes on here, not alot but i always seam to attract them so i'll just stop posting.
I'm sure i'll be banned but i just don't post enought to care anymore.
sorry if I sound like a bitch
im going to criticize. first off your car would look 100x better with a bumper and stock grill. second the engine bay makes me feel like i just arrived at an all you can eat spaghetti factory. sorry. i know its criticism but i dont like it at all! good news is it can be fixed, and if you dont do it the next owner will!! -
here's a few pics of what my 71 looked like a few years ago,and is now undergoing a transformation.

Is that a flowmaster "hush power" muffler ?
A sound clip would be awesome, I'm thinking of making the same kind of setup you have.
it is a hush power and here's a clip
forgive my friend,he was new to cars at the time

here's my side exit,it's only 2.5" pipe but if your not running a muffler then you should be good

i dont care what anybody says my wife has been driving Hyundai's sense see bought a 92 w/8000(they were powered by a 4g64 mitsubishi engine) miles for 3000$ and that thing lasted until 2004 w/254000+ miles on it and we only put about 1000$ in maintenacnce to it and now she drives a 2005 (Bought new w 5/miles on it for under 10,000$) and I'd put this up against any other car out their at the time.
and i'm really considering getting one of these after we pay her car off(less than a year)
instead of a 350Z.

I copied this off of another forum's thread posted by deathinacan (I think he has an RX-7???)
Quote:
Attention all motorsports fans and participants, Sam Adams (Portland City Councilor) has taken a personal issue with PIR. As most of you may know, there has been a long standing feud between "neighbors" of PIR and the raceway especially regarding noise levels. Sam Adams is now a neighbor of PIR and become a very vocal spokes person regarding the impacts of the raceway on the neighbors. Don't pay attention to the millions of dollars being contributed to the local economy, don't worry that the closest similar venue is near Seattle Washiington and don't worry about the numerous events you each have either participated in or watched.
Noise is the door that opens to allow the termination of the facility. The adopted Capitol Improvement plan for PIR through the City of Portland's management has failed to be implemented for the past several years. Funds allocated to this facility have been redirected to other more socially acceptable needs. If Adams is successful in getting noise limitations, what type of racing will actually occur? Fight Sam Adams representing a small but vocal group of which he has a vested interest.
This post is to request you go to http://www.friendsofpir.com and register your support for the preservation of the track and its facilities. It costs nothing except a little of your time to fill out the form. The minorty gets heard because the majority shuts up and thinks everyone else will do their fighting. You need to be heard, your voice and vote counts!
Thanks for supporthing this organization!!!! And remember to pass this on to any person or group that you think is affected by the potential closure.
Project Alpha Productions, and MontesaEntertainment are currently planning to have the first Checkpoint of the West Coast Import Tour at Portland Raceway for this year's Tour - WE will be doing a Feature on our DVD to help promote the "friends of PIR" website accross the Nation - With our combined support, we can help save this legendary race track for performance enthusiests in the NW.
thanks for the help!

i can go out in the morning and try to start my car and it will just turn over and over and over and wont start and i thought i was flooding it but when i check the plugs they are nice looking and dry but it acks like it flooding but then after about 15 mins. of trying to start it,it turns right over and runs great and once the cars warmed up it starts every time but if i let it sit for a couple hours it happens all over again.
now before everybody starts helping me i have replaced this stuff:
battery

Nope. I rarely post much anymore, in fact this is the first one in years. Been a member for years (2001). Still have my Z, but It is in stasis currently due to me being unable to work so it just sits in the garage waiting for the day I'm able to bring it back to life. But it least it has a nice big garage to sit in. Engine is still good, I start it every week or so, but everything else need overhauled. I think I have put 50 miles on it in the last 10 years, maybe 100. It's sad, but it will be reborn again and stronger than ever.
