  6. After looking through the pages of the search function I cant seem to find a wiring diagram for a 75 280z. Anyone have a link to an online one?
  7. I have removed the whole idea. After cutting the button posts out of the bumper, to me it changed the look alot. Ill have some completed pictures of the bumper within a couple days. Keep a look out!!!
  8. Needing opinions, I am looking at more ways to modify this bumper for a whole new look. Here is my current idea after playing some: I have removed the 2 vertical bars in the lower portion of the bumper. I would also make 3 seperate ducks that will run all the way to the radiator for each slot of the center portion. ALong with seperate grills. Also the part on the lower lip of the bumper thats black primer I have thought about removing. Opinions? Any other ideas you guys have?
  9. I would love to see the GTP motor with a manual behind it. How doable do you se it bieng since I read that you have been buiding one?
  10. Here is some more pictures from more work done: Here is the general shape of how the cowl transitions out of the roof. I am contemplating on running a third brake light here. The beggining of molding the flares on. Driver seat installed.
  11. Im not looking for a what to buy type answer by any means. Im concered on issues I may have on issues like the fuel pump, wiring that wont x-over from going to carbs, relocating things, or things I can remove intiarly. At the same time I totally see what your saying and will return with any more specific questions.
  12. I have a 75 280z that was FI and the motor I picked up for it was a 75 260 carbed motor. What im aware of off the bat: 1. The FI fuel pump wont work bc to much pressure - The engine has a mechanical pump...do I go with this? Or do I go with an electric pump and regulator. Other than that what other problems will I encounter? Any wireing issues that will need to be worked out? I am looking to hire someone to complete my install and want to know what problems they will encounter. That way if they dont know what to do when they come to that problem, I am hoping to turn to this thread and find the answer instead of searching over and over threads to no find the answer im looking for.
  13. I must say, the car looks great!! The thread title on the other hand is a bit missleading. Anywho, congrats on your cars completion!!

Still looking! I have about 600, could do a little more on something great.
  16. It was only done for cosmetic purpose but I have found that it will enable me to run a over head consol that I pulled from a yard vehicle. It really look great in person. When I paint the car I'm running a center stripe at the base of the cowl, insted of the more commonly seen that are painted on the top of the cowl. Also when I welded it on it pulled all the layers together, aka my roof is solid. I still won't have anyone near it, but I did a test sit on the roof and it held up nicley leaving no dents behind.
  17. I did cut and weld another hood cowl onto the roof. It should really be accented nicely with the stripe.
  18. Updated pics: I got my flares and spoiler mounted, driver side of the front bumper molded on and still hard on the search for some better wheels! Please let me hear your comments and concerns!
  19. Whats the word on your old carbs?
