  1. All patches have been sold!

However, I have two blemish patches in case someone wants one, but doesn't really care if its perfect. The entire patch looks great except for the word "FEARED". The "E" and "D" are kind of touching. Free for the taking, first come first served

  2. At first is was the turbine powered motorcycle, then it was the hubless, but now it has to be this:

Just look at that thing! It's awsome! I want to know what it sounds like.

If I was to ever build a bike, I would take a chopper frame and drop in a 999cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V-twin engine from the RC51. Now that would be fun! Make people go "What the f#%$?" It would be loud as hell, but unlike the Harley's around here, it would actually have some balls. :flamedevi

  3. John,

Just out of curiosity, the small brackets that hold the rear lower control arm in, how are they holding up? I have read that with repeated hard launches, they start to oval. Some have had these brackets made out of billit aluminum to eliminate this problem.

  4. Did anybody notice they said it was a '79 Dastun 280Z? I was hoping for more excitiment, but I guess since it was all five races plus the negotiations stuffed into what, 17 minutes? Maybe it's because I already knew the outcome? It was just cool to watch the car go down the track and see my buddy Garrett on TV!

  5. Joe,

I recieved a check and a 3X5 card with your information for some Hybrid Z patch(s), but going through the many PM's and e-mails (not knowing your screen name), I can't find how many patches you wanted. One or two? Sorry to make this public, but I figured this would be faster than sending another letter back to you.

  6. Love at first sight? Yes. The moment I met this last girl, I told myself something that I never said before. I said, "I'm going to marry this woman". I've been with a lot of women before, and this is the first time I have felt like this. Kind of scarry actually. Is it real? I'm in the same shoes as you Dale. I'm ready to settle down and she seems like 'the one'. For right now, I'm happy. I hope you are too. Play it cool, don't overwhelm her, and every now and then, bring her some flowers. Chicks dig that.

  7. Ever since I offered these differential carrier bushings/sleeves a while back, I still get occasional e-mails or PM's from people wanting a set or two. I've helped out as much as I can. I even did a group buy a couple months ago with just the people that contacted me off line. I want to know if there is enough interest to buy a couple dozen sets, so I don't have to source out the material or have them machined a few sets at a time. Lately, the R230 guys have been contacting me for the bushings/sleeves as well. How many bolts are in a R230 ring gear?

I know there are the guys out there that downright feel that these are not needed, because the clamping force of the ring gear bolts are sufficient. I personally still feel the bushings/sleeves are needed to fill the void between the 10 mm ring gear bolts and a 12 mm bolt hole on the carrier, especially with the high torque output of some of the engines you guys have. If anything they are a peace of mind. Prices have ranged between $20-$30 a set and I hope to be around that price again if I do this.

Post up if you are interested and I'll see about getting some more made.

  8. Some people just take Alan the wrong way. His succinct candor comes across as a dude with an attitude. Which is not how he is. This guy is a wealth of information and is very helpfull on the forums and off.

Thanks for sticking around Alan and correcting all the misinformation. I have learned a lot from your posts.
