  1. how much could i get for these rims?? they are 15x7.5 i think??? they are running 215/60's right now
  2. Thanks for the info guys the heads i would be using is actually off a 74 360(also truck motor) so i dont think there is smog and the heads should actually flow better....right?
  3. Kinda long, but please read? I know i could put this in the other engines section, but i feel you guys may be of better help. I posted before i am doing a mopar swap..its a 77 360 motor. as of now i have my 280 motor pulled and i have to get started on cleaning the engine bay.. Well i may put this motor in stock , but dont really want to.. this motor stock is running about 190 HP with up to 260-70 ish torque (according to the same year ASPEN with the 360..couldnt find it for the truck) And what i was wondering is how much power do you think i would get out of it with these modifications: Mild cam, maybe a little bigger 650 carb Heads ported and polished Flat top pistons Headers (OF COURSE:) 3'' exhaust/all the way back i will more than likely have an auto. Im thinking i may get as much as 250ish flywheel power.. any suggestions? I just thought maybe the 360 motor might gain power like the 350 chevy Thanks guys for any help with this..i would search on this site, but guess what? there is no info on this motor i know you gear heads have some knowledge on this...also any suggestions on motor upgrades would be appreciated Thanks David. Oh and this link is to the motor..little rough looking but it runs <http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/zspeed260/280z/newjersey094.jpg>
  4. does the number on the block specify the size of the motor? i think it does, but want to check. the number is this 4006830-360..im thinkin that the last 3 digits are the size..(tryin to figure out if my dads blown motor was a 318-360.) i want to use the heads .... thanks, David
  5. I sent an email to you BRAAP, and again...thank you. David
  6. that doesnt discourage me at all..im happy to see it and no thats not the car id seen..the one i saw looked as if its been sitting a while... is there more pictures to that car?? oh and i plan on getting bunches of pictures....gotta represent the third leg of the BIG 3 David
  7. well..i hope that i will be the first on this site to document a mopared Z.. i searched and there wasnt anyone who has done this..i found a picture of a car that was done, but no one on here could claim it as their own. and the car looked rough. i will be pulling the motor out of my z later this week..I haev a 77 360 that im dropping in it will more than likely be stock for right now, just so i can get the fitment right and get the car running..i know there is a lot of work to be done with it, but i am WAY looking forward to it. Im guessin the motor i have has about 190 HP and about 270 tq..so the car should run pretty good thats all stock mind you..stock carb.blah blah..you guys know all the go faster parts.. Wont be a beast by far, but it should be pretty fun for me...I will have LOTS of pictures..so if you care, watch for em. and if you guys have any suggestions or happen to have a 727 or 904 tranny layin around let me know..ill take it off your hands. thanks for reading David
  8. i could have tried to be harsh, but i was just simply askin a question happy to see he no longer has it..my old 944 came with a fart canon on it when i bought it....so i like to ask before i judge
  9. it would definately improve the handling on the z.
  10. Has anyone considered using s2000 steering components? (in an s30i know when i had my s2000 NOTHING compared to it with its steering...it truly was like a go cart.you inch the wheel either way and you were turning.. Just curious if anyone had thoughts on this...i searched...s2000 steering..and nothing came up.... thanks.. david
  11. ive been searching but ive been finding stuff about a stock car and the widest tire that will work with it... I want to run the zg flares with a 16 inch rim, will an 8.5" rim be sufficent? or should i go nine inch and what offset should i use? i like the deep dish look A LOT, so i definately want that. But at the same time i dont want to go too far and put more stress on the car than is needed. I will probably get the coilover set from modern motorsport and a set of illuminas.. I plan on running an advan oni style rim I apologize for the newb question... thanks, David
