  1. Dave, is the subscriber switchover automatic, or do we have to opt in?
    S

I subscribed to Sport Z Magazine and just renewed my subscription. Now that the magazine is no longer publishing, what happens to my subscription money?

Nissan Sport will honor in full all Sport Z Magazine subscriptions, including five-year subscriptions and all prepaid club subscriptions. (For that reason, please understand that we will not be able to offer refunds to former SZM subscribers.) Look for a letter coming to your mailbox soon with all the details. You will automatically be put on the Nissan Sport subscriber list and you will receive your first issue of our new magazine this fall. And, because no Summer 2006 issue was published, your subscription will be extended an extra issue. No additional action for past SZM subscribers is necessary unless your address and/or contact info has changed. If so, please contact circulation at circulation@nissansportmag.com or 505-771-2374.

Do you think it would be possible for you to email the Video to me?(the one with the LOUD music hehe)

I don't seem to be able to SEE the video at Streetfire.net. I can hear the music just fine. I am using Windows MediaPlayer 10. Just can't see the Video.

    Email is. w7bluspam@yahoo.com

Remove the word Spam please. It is a paid Yahoo POP Account so I have 2 gigs of room to receive the video. Thank you Very much.

  3. .....but one thing you certainly need to do is go drive that beautiful Z you have...it's the season...unless of course you're covered with that white stuff.

    Merry Christmas.

HAHA I drove my Z last week and got stuck on flat ground. I guess those 245/45/17 tires wernt made for driving on SNOW.:lmao:

  4. ...for committing such a rookie mistake!

So' date=' you think I'll get lucky and that's all the damage I'll have to repair? Nah, me neither. I'm such a moron...[/quote']

I think you will be lucky. I let My 76 280 freeze once (before the V-8. It popped all the Plugs out of the passenger side. Man it is tuff to get that one in the rear by the starter back in (screw jack from my 72 datsun pickup on its side LOL). Drove it three years before pulling the engine for the swap.

  5. I havent seen anyone metion of Discounttiredirect.com I have had great service with them' date=' prices are just as good if not better usually then Tirerack, not to mention they will offer you "theyre warranty as well" at usually at least on the tires I got of 7 more per tire.

No matter what happens during the life of the tire, free replacement, no questions asked.

Service and speed of delivery has always been fast with them as well.[/quote']

Bad experiance with "Discount Tire Co."[/b'] brick and mortar, I bought some tires and they would not take a balance They tried to tell me that my car was the trouble and I needed an alignment, but I just had an alignment and an alignment has nothing to do with a tire out of balance. Then I had another shop balance them and they noticed two of the dang tires were out-of-round. then I returned the things after about 3 bitch fests at their stores and I finally got a good manager. Turns out Discount tire co sometimes buys "slightly out of spec" tires and that's why they can offer the lower price. Total BS though, and they scratched one of my "10 day old" rims and said it was like that and then lost one of my locking nuts, come on.

Just an FYI; http://www.discounttiredirect.com Is a Different Company Than http://www.discounttire.com

  6. Yesterday I went with my fiance to look at an RSX type S for her. We were happy to see that the owner was an Asian guy who seemed VERY meticulous and seemed to know his fair share about cars (imports as they may be). Anyway, he gives the both of us the spill about the performance and the intake he put on, v-tech, and the body kit and rims he put on along with a test drive which was fairly impressive considering the 200hp 4 cylinder engine. We get back to the parking lot and he had mentioned something about building up his Supra that he was in the middle of with the money he got from the sell. I asked him about the turbo he was going to run and how much hp he wanted and he said about 900 (the joke about the similarities between a 400hp, 600hp, and 1000hp supra all running 12 seconds in the 1/4 mile ran through my head)anyway, then I'm playing dumb asking if he uses synthetic oil, premium gas, blah blah. He quickly answers that he only uses synthetic oil (mobile 1 to be exact) and then shows me the sticker of the place that changed his oil which says M1530. Which he reads off and says, "See here it say Mobile (M) One (1, atleast in his mind) and whatever those other numbers". Now at first it struck me as odd that he said mobile one, and whatever those other numbers but I thought he just mistook the 1 meaning mobile one instead of actually being M 15-30. So I blew it off and other then that we were pretty impressed with his car. Anyhow just a few minutes ago it hit me. Who do you know that claims to be such a big car guy and has aspirations of building up his turbo powered car around 900hp DOESN'T CHANGE THEIR OWN OIL?!?!?!?![/b'] :twak: Am I off here or what? Need some input.

I would be willing to bet that M1530 = Mobil One 5W-30, As that is their best selling product.

  7. Cool project man, I'm wanting to build one to! Actually, I was just going to use the whole bike (unknown doner as of now..) from the forks/bars back. Basicaly, attach a set of wheels/brakes and a seat w/steering wheel pedels, ect to the front of it... just run cables or linkages ahead for throttle/brakes and clutch/gears. Wonder if I could licence it as a 'modified motorcycle' to drive on the street.. muhahaha..

I have wanted to do this same thing sense 1983. Maybe a bit more exotic though. here is a link to the one that I WILL build SOMEDAY. Link Click Me

  8. Those are Mikelly's front control arms that are no longer produced. He can tell you where to get that piece. Just so you know' date=' there has been quite a bit of talk about adjustable control arms on this site. If the search function is working properly, there will be a lot to read on this subject.

    !M![/quote']

Yes Thank you Mat73GNZ. There is a reason I only have 90 Post on this web site. Like you I have been a member sense March 2001 and I have worn out the search function. I almost always find my answer without having to post.
