One more thing - they are light I have not put one on the bath room scales yet but just by the feel they will help with unsprung weight too. The loading rating mark on the rims is 635KG. The inside of the rims is nice too with not too much change in room/shape - I will take a pic of this tomorrow and post it here to if you wish.
Mike are these Performance Supalites? I am just looking at 16x8 Supalites for my 260Z due to fitting the RB26. I currently have 15x7's on both the 240 and the 260 and both are 12p and sit nicely in the guards. I tried a 16x8 4neg on the front and it clears with a bit sticking out the side and a 16x8 4p seems to be the go on the back. If I fit coilovers the 4p will fit front as well. Have you thought of using 16's?

Hi Paul, I dont have any booster - remember we had a look outside your house and decided it was too big, the last thing I had was the fuel pump bracket which I left on your verandah.

The RB30 sump bowl is at the front as said by old300ZX. The RB20 you require is the one with the rear bowl. Even some RB20's have a front bowl as I found out

There's a great site where the whole swap and installation process is documented including relocating the dipstick location. http://myweb.westnet.com.au/mikeval/MoreInfo.htm
My website has now changed to: www.bluevista.net.au

Has anyone tied just taking the swirl pot out of the 280ZX tank and putting it in the 240Z tank?
Alternately cutting that whole part of the 280Z tank off and replacing the similar section on the 240Z tank?

What I did do is build a metal bracket that mounted to a sheet metal cross brace just above the mustache bar, then fit kinda of a double L shaped sheet metal bracket under the control arm bolts to mount the bottom of it.
Any chance of a couple of photos either here or to my email address?

Joel, regards fuel lines - my race shop has said to use -6 flex lines to and fro and -8 just from the surge tank to the Bosch pump. You've gone a lot bigger, do you think my lines will be too small?
-
I have a braided -10 feed, and a -8 return going up the trans tunnel to the motor from a 12 gal fuel cell.
Hi Joel, I have had my surge tank built and I was goung to bolt it to the moustache bar. Do you think there will be any problems with this? ie does the moustache bar move much? I am also thinking of bolting my hp fuel pump on it. What do you think?

Open this to look at my seats, they may be Toyota MR2 looking at the seats above

My seats bolted straight into the front and a tab made across the back. They go all the way forward and back. They also have manual height adjustment (good for the wife), lumbar adjust and seat swab adjust to tighten on your back. Unfortunately I dont know what they came out of, but it was a two door as the passenger seat has a knob that automaticvally bends the back down and shoots it forward. It will be out of a jap car either Mazda or Toyota I would think. There is a whole section Part 8 on my website if someone wants to ID them

on my website I show the whole process in Part 3

I have recently purchased one of the above and the booklet is all in Japanese. Has anyone found an English version? I am especially interested in Pages 14-19 which describe where the hose fittings are inserted into the inlet manifold in lieu of the Air Flow meters.
I have tried logging onto the Apexi website but it wont come up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you talking about the place where the oil temperature sensor goes? I just simply ran a oil temperature sensor, they are really cheap and good insurance. It is the same part number as the Z31's oil temp sensor.
I have put a 240Z water temp sensor in that sump as it fits and am using a second 240Z water temp guage as my oil temp guage above my oil pressure guage (adapted original instruments)

Yes Mike that is how the oil cooler is mounted. All black to blend in - hard to notice from the front of the car.
Q
Would you mind still sending me some better photos I am interested how you attached it. Also what size oil cooler and where did you get it from?
Also what adaptors did you get for the oil filter housing & did you remotely fit your oil filter?
