  2. This is a dummy fit of my turbo/manifold to my engine. Did anyone else have an issue with the length of your oil drain pipe? I bought a high mount braided kit from horsepowerinabox and it doesn't seem to be long enough
  3. Yeh i got one of these too, i thought the quality was great for the money, but too found the problem with the poor fitment to the head. I am running a GT30R and the compressor housing 'JUST' clears the cam covers and the exhaust clears plenty (have heat bag also). I feel the turbo sits rather high in my engine bay but it will be just enough, not to have to worry about it, maybe i will cut down the height of the collector??? im struggling to slot the holes out atm though, can't find a die grinder bit strong enough to bite through the stainless. also what do you mean by cut slits beside the ports? how are you bracing yours? I am running a V band wastegate and therefore will be cutting off the flange anyway.
  4. Just wondering if anyone knows which part of the TPS you use to wire into RB25 loom. I am pretty sure someone is using this TB on their car here. There is two pairs of wires comming off the TPS, I assume one is for TPS signal and the other for auto trans or cruise control..... I tried friggin with it on a multimeter but was getting mixed readings (dodgy multimeter). anyway help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Im using a TRUST twin entry rail.. i got it with my plenum. the benefit of going a twin entry is more even fuel flow... At the time i didn't realise it was for top feed injectors

I don't understand why but i paid $155AU for an N1 water pump and now the price has doubled??? ps the difference between them other than above mentioned blade/anti cavitation plate is there is a bolt hole at the top which on the N1's has a slot.... im guessing this is because the hole in the blocks was in slightly different spots from different models. is there any way you can rebuild these things as i got one sitting here that was hardly used but sat dorment in an engine for some time and has accumulated some rust deposits on it PS i use a Gates Racing timing belt for $100AU
  7. Again sorry, my life has taken a toll in the last two weeks, physically and mentally exhausted. on an up note though i am getting a copy of the Nissan Fast software, so no need to go into the dealership to get part numbers and spend my valuable lunch break in there searching for a part.
  8. ive seen a set of Iridium plugs last a week, went to the el-cheepo's and they lasted ages
  9. Fuel Pump Control Module only reduces the speed of the pump on idle, the can become dicky when old and cause a ruff idle. Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor, I am assuming is just the sensor jammed in the Cat, all it does is switches a light on, on the dash when it gets too hot (read: cat is blocked). Not sure if you guys gotta run cats or not over there, and with all the great high flow items on the market these days id be replacing it anyway.

  12. I just use NGK B6ES plugs, i think there is also the BP6ES for platinum plugs. can't see too much point spending up big on plugs, ive yet to see any more than 3rwkw gain with a set of plugs that was 6 times the price

  14. Seems an od spec'd turbo, and ive never seen much of them on the RB30... i would go with whats been said and get a GT35
  15. Funny that, i was installing new cam cover gaskets yesterday after having my head rebuilt and was like hang on!!!! so yeh when i go to order them in the next week or so i will let know. 240Z_Master: i will check that for you too
