Reminds me of this guy who showed his 80yo dad a picture of a "flats" car' date=' he said "dad this car will go 700 miles an hour." His dad told him time and time again NO WAY, NO HOW would any car go 700MPH. He finally threw up his hands in dispair and ask the old man WHY he didn't belive it. "Because son there ain't no road around here you can drive 700MPH on."
Besides the flats where in the hell are you going to drive 240 MPH, I just can't stop laughing here, my co-workers are beginning to wonder if I've lost my mind. Are you going to drive that thing up the 405 at 2AM?

kinda stupid of a move but i did 130mph in my super eta and 5am on the 405 haha. Was racing a turbo'd eclipse....anywho....seriously thou u could take it to the autobahn in europe. heard there are plenty of ferraris to play with over there. haha
btw im in ur area of HB. I live in costa mesa. When you start on the project i can help u out. Me my self i like goals that everyone doubts. go for it man!

Well theres two reasons for it. 1- someone might want the oscialltor unit for they;re clock and might not wat the clock. 2nd reason is well.....i end up with more money.....

just had an idea.....cf headlight buckets... you could paint the outer part body color' date=' and leave the scoop cf...add headlight covers and i think that would look awesome...

Hi,
I listed my rally clock and oscillator on two diffrent auctions on ebay. The clock is a early rally clock (70-73) which has two knobs on the face. Heres the links. Any questions welcome. btw i didnt know where to post this thread so if its in the wrong catagory please move it where it belongs.

must have been a great feeling. i cant wait til my 240z is done. right now its on its frame being sand blasted. But its ok cause i got the 75 280z and its all in one peice.

Marina High. im in HB almost everyday. once im done with the body work on my z (about 60% done) ill bring it and we can meet sometime.

Mike I see you're from SD' date=' so I know you must own a pair of sunglasses! I don't know if you've seen my dash, but I've painted mine gloss black and I've never had a problem with glare. Plus it looks cool at nite with the street lamps reflecting off it!

nice dash. i really like that alot. id like to see your project sometime. i go to school in huntingon beach but live in costa mesa. anyway nice work with the dash. i was thinking of doing that to mine. long story...there was a NOS dash on ebay and i ended up buying it for $1400....feels like a mistake now....

Here in Cali, it's 7am-7pm only, then they have the right to call the cops. the cops come over and give you a stern lecture. Then they usually get more disturbed by the caller than the callee.
i though it was 12. either way i dont got that problem. we own the complex we live in so they wont complain haha. Ive worked til 1 in the morning in my garage and had no problem.

biggest reason im here. try saying v8 or swap anything into a z at classiczcars.com they all flip. love it here

good story. but i got to agree 5.0 are very overrated. I got a super eta 528e and i was racing my freands 5.0 mustang. he would keep saying my mustang does this, it does that no one can take me and on and on and on. well He make got a 5.0 but its not built like a bmw 6cyl. raced him from a stand still. stayed mirror to mirror. after about 50mph i started pulling away. tried it again from a 40mph roll, downshifted and i was out again. even after all that he wouldnt admit he lost. said he didnt shift right. felt great thou.....
