The coil overs and camber plates are made by z race products. He doesn't advertise them on his site cause his web guy moved away and he hasn't had a chance to update his site. And once I have the rears installed he is gonna send front and read strut bars -
How to remove transmission after JCI LS1/T56 swap
sidewaz replied to RebekahsZ's topic in Gen III & IV Chevy V8Z Tech Board
But if you wanted to go the gear box route once you remove the transmission crossmember and driveshaft the tranny should drop enough for you to get to the bolts. -
How to remove transmission after JCI LS1/T56 swap
sidewaz replied to RebekahsZ's topic in Gen III & IV Chevy V8Z Tech Board
I just removed one but I have access to a transmission jack. Once I unbolted the tranny I slid it back some and used a wrench to unbolt the clutch and dropped them both together. -
I installed these for a customer/friend and figured i would share the pics of the progress so far. on this setup you haft to grind off the part that holds the original spring and weld a sleeve on there to hold the coil over setup in place. After i got it all cleaned up i powder coated it super mirror red. the camber plate is fairly easy with the template. after i finish painting the engine bay and start putting the car back together ill post more pics. Enjoy.

I couldnt find the bj hines when i searched members and is there another way to find the setup the guy did with the fans
-
I remember a while back I wanna say I found them on this forum, but it was pics of some holes drilled on the sides of the engine bay in the back corners under the fenders to help vent heat from the v8 swap. If anybody has a link or could point me in the right direction any help would be great.

When I get back to my shop in the morning I'll take more pics. As for the bottom of the car yea it's pretty bad the guy who built it put silicone on everything with a butter knife it looks like lol. And it's covered in dust cause it was in a restoration shop for 20 months that did a horrible job so I'm in rescue mode trying to fix two horrible jobs on this car
-

i have this car at my shop that im working on and i just need some quick info from some one who has completed the swap. the engine crank pulley is really close to the steering rack and the alternator is hitting the mount on the engine cradle. the customer purchased this car with the motor already installed and its a ls3 which i dunno if thats the reason its so close and hitting, but i thought it was the same size as the ls1 but i could be wrong. The person who did the install welded the mount kit which was suppose to be direct bolt in and did a hack job on the transmission cross member so im thinking thats the problem so any help or info would be nice. smaller pics in post 5
