I have the MS2 with the V3.57 & 2.888 its in a 240Z with a 280ZX turbo motor using the '83 turbo dizzy & I am not getting spark or fuel pump prime or pressure. I have checked the pump & the wiring for the relay and for the pump & its good, so I think I just don't have something configured right. Any suggestions on what to try first ? I have read Moby's writeup and the manuals.

Thanks a bunch ! Yeah i went down & got the receipt it says V3.57. I am assuming that is the V3 board, it also says that they modified it for a "single Bosch BIP373 ignition output on pin 36", is that the ignition transistor you are talking about ? Also the injectors i am using are 2.4 ohms so do i need the flyback board ?, cause i was reading somewhere that the V3 came with that.

Do i need the ignitor on the side of the coil ? I am assuming no, that's what the HEI module is for right?

Ok thanks, well right now its going to get the HEI module. I am really lost with this system I thought if I ordered a preassembled unit it would make it easier but the more I read about it the more confused I get about what I should be running, configuring, wiring, installing, pretty much every thing. I started out thinking this would be fun, do some wiring, do some tuning, and bam off I go.

Hey I am installing this system (http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/megasquirtii-ems-system-smd-pcb357-assembled-unit-p-165.html ) in my 240Z. It has the L28et from a 83 280ZX turbo in it, when i ordered it i told them that i was going to use the stock distributor, my question is do i need to use the HEI module to fire the coil and can i use the Z31 coil or can i use a MSD 6al box or do i need both ?

Atlanta performance and fabrication they can build you a awesome mandrel system. Check out their web site http://www.atlpf.com they build twin turbo corvettes from scratch.
