  1. For the people that road race there vg30 powered cars ,Is there any oiling issues with g-forces and small oil capacity of the vg30 motor? Was thinking of making the oil pan capacity bigger. I have a oil cooler set up just making sure I don't eat up some bearings. Thanks Dave.

  2. Remove the center console in the car between the seats. Remove the dust boots that are around the shift lever(There are 2) Remove the c-clip that hold the shift lever in the transmission and remove it and its socket. There are two, the wrong one will release springs and stuff, don't take it out, take out the smaller diameter one.

this is from z31 web site.... Good luck..

  3. I just looked at mine, you don't need to take the 4 bolts and 2 screws out to remove your shifter. There is a compress ring clip just in side the hole your shifter goes into, you should see two little holes on each side off the clip ring, used the needle nose and sqease together and pull out and your shifter will come out. Almost possitive....

  4. Is it me or does it look like the lips of the rims is bigger on the fronts? The lips should be 1/2 larger on the rears and it looks like you have the fronts on the rears and the rears on the frount. The picture looks like that. Not trying to be a you know what. Is anybody else picking this up? Looks awesome and they look to have a staggered look. Just trying to picture them with a polished lip and a painted center. Thanks for the work and time rudypoochris...

  5. Well looking at the website , all of the passing panels in the test look about the same. One thing they are trying to say is that it is cheaper, That is if you want the gray, if you want the black finish you have to buy the gray and then put the black over that. I mite be reading it wrong ,The gray looks good and if I ever need gray I will try it out. It seams in less you car doulbles and a salt water going vessel , these products work good. Thanks for the heads up, didn't even know there was a rust bullet.

  6. This stuff works great. My car sat if a field for over a year with no floor board . The roll bar, frame, and door jams was coated . There was not a single pit of rust. The car had humitiy tramp in it because of the floor being missing, mold was all inside the car ,but no rust....It save alot of damage that could have happen..... + por-15

  7. I know I can search, but maybe someone knows this. I'm replacing my stubs with 280zxt 6 bolts. I ordered new nuts, 27mm ones. Do you steak them or just used tread lock on them? I was going to use a impact gun on these , will that be enough torque? Plus on the 6 bolts on each side I was going to use tread lock. What is the torque for the 6 bolts on each side? Thanks Dave......

Two piece ccw's. Not a baller and don't have the money for the 3 piece wheels. The back wheels are 16 x9.5 with 5.5 back space and the fronts are 16x8 with 4.5 back space. 225/40's up front and 245/45's out back for now..... Probly going to use these for auto-x and track days and put some 265/45's in back with 225/50's victor racers ... just need to find a set for street use maybe 15 "diamond's.......

  9. I had a bridgeport 13b with two 3" borlas, it was almost quiet at lower rpms , but a full 10,000 rpm wail it had a nice deeper sound. If you know rotaries it hard to quiet them.. It also stood up to the heat with out burning out and getting louder..... Best sounding and lasting muffler in my opinion....

  10. Thanks for the help...You right they are for a 280zx turbo...I bought them sometime ago and forgot what they were to... I have a impact gun do you think that will get the nut off? Do you got to use a hammer and knock off the stubs?

  11. I'm switching over to cv's and just wanted to know which cv's have the 6-bolt that attach to the stubs. I have the 4 bolt with the u-joints now and I have bought the 6 bolt stubs. Do you used a new nut to attach the new stubs and how much to torque it to? Thanks Dave....

  12. zgad, So is your friend with the 650hp z31 breaking the 87-89 turbo trannies? I have this set up on my 200sx and was looking for around 500rwhp race and 350rwhp street. I looked for info and this trans is suppose to be the strongest stock trans you can use. I hope it holds together..... I would like to see more info on your friends z31. I have been to the orlando drag strip and seen a z31 run low to high 10's and have been impressed, I think the car was gray. I'm putting a vg30et in my car and any info would help, like turbo , clutch , internals, cam , etc......

    Thanks Dave....
