  1. i was hoping someone would say its real easy to set it up if you have the orig toyota harness but you guys are right, i was trying to do a real!! cheap with the installation, but i might have wound up with expensive problems!!! thanks for the input. ed
  2. hi everone, i just got myself a haltech e6x unit from a guy without any wiring or connectors at all. now i know the connectors and looms are available for this unit but i wanted to know which to buy. i have a toyota 1jzgte that i wanna throw into a 280z, with almost all of its harness, so should i buy a complete replacement loom for the e6x or just the connector and get what i need from the existing harness?? ed
  3. oh i forgot to mention i've already checked ebay au and the tweakit site. they were real helpful and had most of what i wanted, is it possible to get better prices? ed
  4. hi all, i'm doing a 1jzgte swap for a 280z and was wondering where to get reasonably priced parts for it. i live in kenya but have a mate in australia whose coming up. so anybody from down under who knows where i can get the following: haltech e6x flying lead kit haltech haltuner without gauge haltech boost control solenoid triple igniters (any good ones) haltech 4 wire O2 sensor 280z badges thats it for now, basically if you know someone who has a shop i can get them at it'd be great, otherwise any help would be welcome. thanks and if this is not the place to do this 1000 apologies from Kenya Ed
  5. hi do they have an email address i could use to ask the some info? ed
  6. hi i'm also interested in the e6x. i wanna put it in my z thats will run a 1jzgte. i like the price your getting yours for and wanted to know where your getting it, and can i get one too?
  7. i've just checked the autometer z gauges, they're nice but they're in MPH just like all so many other after market gauges. do any come in KPH?
  8. hi all i just got myself a 1975 280z and wanna change the engine to a 1jzgte with a w55 gearbox. it has the old r200 diff. anyway my real question is what gauges (speedo, tacho, boost) would look good in the dash and work with the 1j and the gearbox? could i get a set that would all look the same? can the cost less than an arm and a leg? thanks 240zbopper
