  1. I've known about the OS head for many years. They made it for both the 4 and 6 cylinder L-series.

    Buy an RB25DET engine. :D

Ditto its pretty much a l28t wit dohc

but then again the price of swap is in a diff league than the zxt

  2. I will like to add my 2 cents since i go to school wit evilc...

we came to college not to start at the ground up but to have a postion in the ladder that will lead us to do what we want...with that being said i propose this idea to u. apply for the MBA program and apply for an intership/CooP in an automotive job...(honda,nissan ect.) I've been tryin for 2 years to get into honda or nissans CooP program and will keep applying untill they get annoyed by me...afta workin this summer for the engineering plant in ithaca i learned one thing - I COULD HAVE DONE ENGINEERING W/O AN COLLEGE EDUCATION! and u know it too...We pretty spend 4 years busting our buts for a paper...with the experince u get from the interships would be more towards what u want to do in life..."yes wyotech will teach you how to build an engine..but will it teach you how to make one"?

  3. from what i been reading it depends on your setup...if all stock with a boost controller of some sort i couldnt imagine seeing anymore than 10psi w/o knock...now if u have some additions (intercooler, custom dp, ect) i could see a reliable 12-15psi...but guys on this forum can prove me wrong with the numbers they make...

  4. good luck wit school....im finishin up my classes so i can start my MBA....ME is cool if u got friends to work with...if not it can be a pain! I found that out the hard way...i didnt realize how many engineers there are on this site...

  5. well personally i think u should go wit what u can find...i plan on doing a lsx swap somewhere down the line but i came across a 280zxt motor for dirt cheap so i decided to get some experence by swaping the turbo motor first just to get an understanding on troubleshooting swaps and wiring... then move upward to the lsx swap...but if u can find a donor car chevy for cheap...id say go for it!

  6. looking for rust on a z car = check everywhere....but primarily check floorpans, frame rails, under battery tray, around tail lights, wheel wells...when u check make sure to throughly check...like really poke or hit the pannels to see if its metal or bondo...u will be able to tell the difference...floorpans and rails can be harder to tell becuase of the undercoat...i honestly havent figured a good way to tell without removing some of it...
