Anyhow, you have a stock Nissan cam...better steel than you are going to get from CFC. So if you are going to get a cam, have that one reground to your specs by Delta.
I like it when he is talking about the fastest car there and the "smaller HKS 3037 turbos" that have Garrett stamped right on them. Does Honeywell make HKS turbos too?
edit: I guess they are a distributor in Japan...huh learn something new everyday. Always thought they were a different design.
racer x260 is right, the stamp is on the opposite end of the sprocket toward the firewall. You can see it on the back side of the journal race. Oh well, I knew it was on one of the ends...didn't remember which one.
If it's the cam from the E31 head, the "A" cam, it will have a rough idle too. Thanks for the compliment, I just got my Konig Rewinds on yesterday, looks good. Have to update my sig.

That is the stock cam in the E88 and every other S30 head, so it could be a re-grind or the stock cam. The only way to know is to measure it or pull off the timing sprocket, there will be a letter stamped on the end of the cam. Sould be a C stamped on there for the early E88 cam.

That thing sounds incredible. It is supposedly putting 700+ HP down now.
It'll be rad as long as I don't break it. There aren't many places that work on them where I live other than Audi and they charge a fortune. Parts are rediculously expensive and finding a replacement transmission is next to impossible. But, it is a fairly rare car and he is the original owner with all of the receipts. The inline fives are amazing though, and can put up some crazy numbers. There's a video I remember of one with around 500 HP I'll post it if I can find it.
I have an opportunity to pick up a 1992 aluminum block Quattro V8 with the 5 speed. I think I am going to keep it in the Audi though. Too high priced a swap and too complicated with the AWD systemand electronics. The one I can get only has 120k on the clock and has been baby'd. Sweet ride, but a bit on the heavy side. The guy is a friend of mine who just picked up a new A8 and was going to donate the Quattro V8 since he doesn't want to deal with selling it. I told him I'd give him the value of the tax return. It helps to know cool people who have more money than they know what to do with.
I have a new set of eight spokes on the way, am selling these, and I'm curious who made them. Are they factory Nissan or something else? I think they are aluminum but definitly alloy. Any help appreciated.
Yup, I live across the freeway from GA. I used to love going there too. Bremerton, huh? My parents lived there when my dad was in the Navy. I remember the rain when I was a kid.
