the master cylinder for brakes and clutch is the same one correct. and there is some but only because i spilled a bit when filling up the resevoirs but prior to that it was dry. and where can i find the slave cylinder on the trans?

Hey guys today i had trouble getting my car into gear after turning it on, and my clutch pedal seemed to go straight to the floor. i pumped it a few times and was finally able to put it into gear. But about 5 min ago i tried the same trick and just didnt seem to work it went straight to the floor i was out pumpin it for a couple minutes and finally gave up. Possible problems air in clutch master cylinder? Help on what and where to check thank you.

I've got a 260z for less than what you're asking? unless you're dead set on a 240z good luck with you're search.

Thanks alot for all the info and heads up bro. and i found a local shop called Import Auto i always see 300zx 280s 270s and 260s i would probably check em and and yea im looking for a stock Z as much as possible i mean that 77 i put up first looked funky but i stiill thought it was worth a shot but no way i was going to buy also i would need an already running car not because im impatient but i need it for school asap. as of now though i have a week cause of spring break. although would you guys pay 3500 for this Z? http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/2312907644.html

Talked to the guy with the orange Z. says to be a daily it would need new rings and it smokes a bit. it pretty sweet lookin' tho.

Thanks Pharaohabq and misterz for help and advice guys. Pharaohabq he said he would untune and smog it for me before sale... And mister Z Yea first thing i noticed were the awkward fitment on those flares. and i think 2800 might be as low as he might go he wasn't too enthusiastic when i asked if his price was negotiable. also i found this 240z http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/2312907644.html its over my budget but i sent an email to the owner and he said he has a couple guys lined up that might buy but if they flake he'll call me and accept the offer. and this 240 just came up on CL couple hours ago http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/cto/2321954178.html i have not even contacted seller but thought id show you guys whats on my mind.

Hahah from what i have heard you are neeever done with these lol Yea i spoke to the owner he said his local Z shop tweaked his engine for performance? didnt say much about it but he said id have to "untweak" it for smog it was all very confusing lol car is sweeet lookin tho. i have spring break soon so ill use that as extra time to shop so i won't jump on anything abruptly.

Restore/Mod for daily use. remove rust/get it running as best as possible/drop: ) it would be my first car pretty much i only had my previous car for a couple months.
