Can i use the 76 Efi fuel pump with carbs provided i get a fuel pressure regulator? it has both hard lines already plumbed and would save some time / money by keeping the efi pump.

Pics
Also have an AC compressor, spins freely looks super clean, unknown if it was recharged with R12 or not

came off a 76 280z,
Have complete intake manifold, injectors, EFI relay, ECU and matching AFM, all hoses are intact, comes with a wiring harness but it is cut leading to the ECU and EFI relay.
prefer a set of Weber DCOE 40 Triple Carburetors, manifold, linkage, fuel hose & clamps, air horns.. pretty sure im missing something here.
open to offers on solex/mikunis
anyways i will have pictures up as soon as i can get back to the engine, its 15 miles away.

One other thing, the car came with 2 plastic strips about 5'' long, i have no idea what they are for.. they were hanging around the floor pan near the fuse block, is this for the transistor ignition unit? i couldn't find any wires around there that it would attach to.
This is what was in the area does it look like its missing anything coming from the firewall?
-
I don't believe so I will go check but just to make sure we are talking about the same connector, you mean the yellow-ish one that is a 90 degree bend that if you looked straight down at the connectors it would look like a corner to a square or a L?
Also what year is your Z (I'm guessing its a later fuel injected Z by the EFI relay) and is it an automatic or manual?
76 280z manual, its the cylinder im looking at
-
The cylindrical relay is for your flashers or your turn signals can't remember which but both can interchange it should have a little yellow-ish 90 degree bend connector connected to it, The larger rectangular relay is your EFI relay you should have to blocks coming from your ECU harness to plug into that. Also the one stray bullet connector I believe goes to a little assembly right by where you bolt the steering column onto. I believe it is for the light dimmer or some buzzer. I don't have it plugged in I believe and its fine. Hopefully someone else can shed some light on that as well.
is that 90 degree bend connector attached to the steering column by chance?

I just put the dash back in the car, and got most of the wires to match up (thank god) the radio / climate is missing completely, however i still have the harness, can i leave this all unplugged from the main?
Also, i need help identifying a few things. Where do the two bullet wires on the brake pedal plug in to? if someone can get me a picture that would be awesome, also what are these things for? i can't figure it out for the life of me, everything else was plugged in but these things am i missing wires?
Edit: forgot to take a picture of this, but there are 4 wires coming from the dash, they are 2 bullet connectors and 2 flat head connectors, i have one bullet wire remaining and no where to plug it in, i can't find it on the wiring diagram either.

Well i had a super good deal on an engine, P90 head arp studs, header etc etc.. $400
Guy turns around at the last moment before the sale and wants to keep it "just in case" his LS swap doesnt work out right
Anyways, i need a cheap running engine for my 280z I'm in the NY area, if anyone has one let me know
-
Need a complete radiator, hoses etc.. and hood hinges BAD if anyone has them relatively cheap please let me know
-
The car itself will only be lowered 1.5'' so i'm not too concerned about rubbing or anything, my fenders are already cut out with the flares. I just cant figure out what ET i need to make it look right
-
What kind of offset do i need running a 9'' rear tired with flares to fill them out?
-
600$ obo btw
-
If you're going to sell it as an LSD, you should probably take the rear cover off and take a picture or two. You'll need to drain the oil if you ship it anyway.
The reason I say this is because all you can really see is a finned cover. The side stub shafts are not from an LSD, so while it is more likely that somebody had and LSD and wanted to use the stock halfshafts so they popped in the stub shafts out of a 280Z, it is also possible that somebody had a 280Z and really wanted a finned cover for some reason so they put the cover on an otherwise stock 280Z R200.
Okay thanks, i'm going to take it apart in the morning and check it out to make sure. This info is from the previous owner, i got it & the trans with the car as extra parts!
-
Okay, the internals on this diff are 3.7 gearing CLSD, i guess this is a really rare find.. and its FOR SALE! since i really don't have any use for it.
-
Its a clutch lsd
-
after looking around i found out that the trans is an FS5W71C, took a while googling the numbers.. still lost on the diff though
-
These came as extra with my 280z, i assume the diff is an r200, but i don't know if its 3.9 or 3.7 etc.. if anyone can tell from the marking let me know, it will save me from taking it apart.
also, the trans is from a z31? i believe... again im not to sure so if anyone could confirm that for me it'd be great
wtb: manual tranny, clutch and brake pedals, and master cylinder
