  3. The 350Z sump, pick-up and tray are bolt on, so grab them with your pan. Yes I have the adaptor in stock ready for shipping. The kits with all the hardware are now $450 Cheers Drew
  4. Yes with the 350Z oil pan, we are doing it on our Drift VQ30DET. Cheers Drew
  5. hay mate could you email me pics of your cross member, regards chris. im doin a vq30det conversion over here in aussie just wondering what yours is like. great job by the way

  6. Well for those that want it I will make it just let me know. it will require hood cutting in any application but it would be cool for sure. Drew
  7. There is a local guy that does flow testing, once we have done the NA and SC comparisons with the 2 intakes will see if it is worth it to have it done. In the case of side or front loading the tube it is a case of hood clearance, you also want to consider torque when making your runners. We will see soon enough. Thanks for the kind comments about the work. Drew
  8. Well thanks but the Hal he is refering to IS the Hal I was talking about, He is renowned for his "HAL"tech work. Cheers Drew
  9. Which plenum mods please and can you send me Hal's MAP, is it the Platinum 350Z ECU? We were only able to atain 260.9 WHP on a fresh stock motor with headers, non restrictive exhaust, light flywheel, light pullies. Are you sure this is not at the flywheel? I deal with Hal and I am sure he would have shared this with us. Thanks Drew
  10. I have a VQ in my NA Z as well so we will do the comparison NA and FI in the G race car, When we make the new ones I will take photos of the inside as well as they are done as velocity stacks, my idea behind less corners was smooth flow. All in all the testing needs to be done, minimum it will be better than stock. have been following your project as well and it is extremly well done and detailed. Hats off. Drew
  11. Thanks, that is Pro Charger runs a little different than a turbo, Linear power supply. Thanks Drew
  12. Look closer please, the other mentioned intake is not round it has corners and there is not a problem with the cylinders getting equal air. I will be posting the results as soon as we have them. Cheers Drew
  13. My new intake plenum, all aluminum, free flowing runners and tube, 0 interuption. We will be doing the A-B thing on the Dyno next week.
  14. http://www.canadiandrifting.com/News/tabid/121/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/155/Nissan-300zx-VQ35-swap.aspx Thanks Drew
  15. Haltech is amazing period, Great standalone, great service from guy's that know their sh*t. Yes it has some tuning to be done as it is set up for my race car right now. AS for the hood, the pictures with the hole cut was just for the SCP Show. Thanks Drew
  16. Sorry for the other video this one works> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiulMC53_FI
  17. After doing 4 customer Z's with this set up mine is finally done. this is fire up before exhaust.
  18. I am not convinced, moving the crossmember down 1" brings everything attached to it down an 1" as well, in turn stretching LCA reach, doing this is not ideal for the geometry of the suspension. The lighter motor already raises the ride height of the front. plus the 1" is not enough to clear the hood. Drew
  19. Just to bring this back to point. The 50 HP gain over the VG is only the begining, consider the weight reduction and what the swap does for the balance of the car and how much eaiser it is to work on. This is why I started doing these swaps.
  20. No offence but you are missing a couple of huge factors starting with price "weight and balance" 300 so pounds...., if you tune the VQ35DE you can get 260WHP (I have). The VQ35HR with a tranny is roughly $4000 compared to $1500 or $2000 for the DE and I have not even seen a used VQ37 yet so who knows how much that would be. But to answer your question yes you can use our kit on the HR no problem.
  21. Yes but it is not enough clearance and it also throws off the ride height in front the angle of the arms...... not really ideal. Drew
  22. All the pictures are included in the 2 pages. Drew
