well i dont know to much about z's eather but i am taking my z all the way down to the metal (custum body kit process) and i found the big spots for rust are lower rear corner panels and lower half of he doors also when i come across rust if it is althe way through i cut and wld a new piece of metal there but if it just on the suface i grind past the rust and cover w/fiberglass if nessery i am not a big fan of "bondo" hope this helps

i don't like um (imo) waste of money

i got it at an arts and craft store by seven corner in north va. can't remember the name it was like $15 for 25lbs coverd the half the front bumper still needed to do the lower spoiler i decided to let it dry then cover it with glass but when it dried it cracked and fuked up so im gunna do it again but glass it up right after i finish molding the clay hope that works http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL721/5561609/11098971/162697831.jpg

oh nuthing wrong with alittle speed hell tonight i got the masersati up to 147mph racing a turbo pralude the little sucker was faster then i tought but i had to show him whos boss:malebitch

i had the same problem and also when i down shifted and gunned it it turned out to be the mustache bar bushings

no i got a sbc(Vortech Centrifugal Supercharger) /Super T-10 4-Speed i just need to put it in it came with the car i love devorce(husband did not want wife to get the car)

hi ppl i just boght a 77 280z (sbc/charged)bout a week ago ($600 from a friend going through a devorce) i have always liked them but not real crazy about them untill lately anyway the body looks real bad and i decided to make a custom bodykit(fender flares the whole 9)i,ve worked with fiber glass in the past so i am able to make the kit but i am not to sure how to attach the fender flares with out it cracking later on down the line any ideas(should i fill it with fiber glass then sand down) also here is my idea for the kit i used paint just to get an idea tell me what yall think

i am planning on doing my interer in suade but i have never done a car i am good w/ a stitching so i think i can do it but a wanted to know how much faberic to buy i wanna cover seats front and back head liner dash and center console does n e 1 have n e idea what it will take? thanx

well thanx but i can get a 300zx turbo no title crashed in the back for $1500 also what does it take to turbo or supercharge this engine(l28e) like cams computers program pistons???

well thanx this will really help i found i am going to use house insulation foam from home depot it is way cheaper and ezer to shape ill try to keep ppl updated on my lil' project.

now im sure this question on here but does n e 1 on here know how to make a wide body kit out of fiberglass? i plan on taping styrofoam the the car and shapng it to then i am going to cover it with fiberglass remove fiberglass from car then try to cut away as much metal as possible rivet the molds to the car and fill with fiberglass any suggestion on another way to go about this will help i will try to update on my venture

i'm new to this (both this site and the"z") i just got a 77 280z 2+2 for $400 it runs ok but the rings on cyclider 1 & 2 or going so heres my question should i rebuild this engine or swapp to the vg30de-tt from the 300zx and slightly build it up(im can get the engine/trans everthing for $2000). I'M LOOKING FOR ABOUT 400WHP is that possible with the l28e? also im looking to spend 3g at the most any thing might help
