quick and dirty Tach Adapter: Yes Orange and Black to Coil + and - Red and White to the + and - that you removed from the Coil to hook up the Orange and Black (tach adapter runs parallel off of these red and white wires) Heavy Red and Black to Battery. Gray wire - not used
