I am really leaning in that direction (completing the engine on the stand). I just need to go and find some heads.

Yeah I thought about that. I think I may have to wait until I get block huggers as well to make sure I position away from the steering shaft before I drill.
Just finished welding in Bad Dog frame rails yesterday and sealed them today. I will wait a couple days and then prime and undercoat. At least I feel as though I am making some progress.

Is there any huge disadvantage if I were to install my 350 shortblock , and then install the upper half of the engine after I get my heads and intake?
I have the short block bolted to the T5 and would like to sit it in and install the transmission mount. Would be nice to get it off the garage floor.

Try shifting to 3rd just for a second before going to reverse, not an uncommon problem.

Sorrry guys, I searched but couldn't quite find what I needed. L31 Block with modified 062s and zz4 cam. I am ready to bolt up the WC T5 and not sure about the "internal / external balance issue.
Which flywheel do I need to use? Is anyone running a L31 with a manual trans ? I know is needs to be the 153 teeth unit but not sure about the balance.

Not to jack this thread..... however if I upgrade my delivery line to 3/8, will the original delivery line be ok to use as a return? Mild 350 chevy engine w/ ZZ4 cam.
