  1. Great product. I've been running mine for 2 years with no problems.
  2. I had to have custom lines made anyway, so I just have them running from the original 626 condenser locations. I modified the stock Mazda upper brackets, cut the legs off the condenser, mounted a couple rubber pads, and made a couple retaining brackets for the bottom.
  3. I spent the past couple days installing my Sanden compressor, mazda 626 condenser and drier in my '75 V8Z. I had a hard time finding the o-rings for the expansion valve. For anyone who needs these o-rings, the ID is 38mm and the width is 2mm. After charging the system I am VERY pleased.
  4. Does anyone know the size for the o-rings the fits the expansion valve in a 75 280 with factory air? I tried searching but could not find any info.
  5. Bumping a 10 month old thread for any updates. I ordered the 4 Seasons part #38608 but the picture looks very different from the one that is installed in my 75 with factory air.
  6. I just finished bolting up my Sanden compressor today. I wanted it mounted on the driver's side but did not want it outside the valve cover. I was lucky and found the compressor and bracket on a Dodge truck at Pull-A-Part. It appears that someone started adding A/C to the truck and then abandoned the project. There was also a new condenser and both the condenser and compressor still had the factory caps on them.
  7. I think my sensor screwed into the adapter, and then into the head. I know they have 2 sizes because I got the wrong one at first.

  10. Looks like a coolant temp sensor. Thats where i have mine installed.
  11. Thanks. The cooling fan is from a 98 Ford T-Bird (V8).
  12. Thanks, I will be working on the hood latch and a few other items this weekend.
  13. Just saying thanks to all the people who have shared tons of knowledge on the forums. I am getting closer to completion. I started with a vortec block then added zz4 camshaft, edelbrock performer heads and intake. Trans is a world class T-5, Diff: 3.70:1 LSD. Have my MM billet Z31 companion flanges and Z31 axles installed. I just finished up the rear brake conversion with 240sx calipers and 300zx rotors, and the fronts were done last week using toyota calipersand vented rotors. Suspension is mild with KYB struts and ST springs and Arizona Z car adjustable rear LCAs
  14. Sh#%...my wife just read this entire thing.....this sofa is uncomfortable as hell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Are you going to bolt the slave directly to the ear on the side of the transmission? I have the Howe slave but have not had a chance to install it yet. I think the ear is strong enough and it is the perfect distance away from the clutch fork.
  16. Will Get pics posted on Monday when I get back to the ATL. Hanging out in the Big Easy for New Year's Day/weekend. Got a chance to mount the JTR crossmember (using 1/4" steel plates 6x6 inside the car on Wednesday, and while I was in the middle of that UPS showed up with my Fat Mat, (Not Fat Matt's for those in Atlanta) so I have plenty to keep me busy when I get back to ATL.
  17. Mike, are you talking about an external slave? You mentioned bearing and I just want to make sure.
  18. OK, I know I am pulling one from the archives but I also have a HOWE pull type slave from Summit. Is the ear that is cast on the side of the T5 strong enough to support this ? Don't want to make the bracket if not necessary.
  19. Yeah I posted that a while back. Since then I have bolted on a pair of edelbrock heads and finished the engine and have it installed in the car. Just got my Sanderson headers and driveshaft flange today, and got my billet companion flanges and front and rear brake parts on Monday.
  20. Has anyone got these heads up and running yet? Looking for some feedback.
