Thanks for all the input guys, Im gonna continue searching for a complete turbo motor or turbo parts car. Can you send me a link to the walkthrough for the swap, I want to see how it is because me and my buddys did a Honda motor swap once and it was pretty simple I want to see how a it would be on for the 280zx. Wow i didnt even know about that, well then Im gonna start calling up some local yards again see if I can find a complete motor, most of teh ones i found werent complete but usually missing manifolds and turbos:(

Why not the '81? I was warned of the '83 and their hydralic lifters but never of the '81? I was also wondering if its worth the hassle of trying to boost my NA motor? It has 190k miles on it and still runs hard... Oh and i plan on going MS:mrgreen: PS I love my S130 too! Just got the rust off and got her repainted! Looks as good as any S30 to me! The pic in my sig is 6months old! Im having problems getting a new pic up...

Sup guys been a long while since I was last on here and sadly the Zs still stock n slow(and I still got the same stupid SN). Ive finally gotten a Daily beater so now my Z sits by the house waiting to get attention. So before I get flamed I have been searching for about a good year now and have decided my budget only allows me to run a L28E boosted. Now Im 18 yrs old and starting college and extremely low on funds and jobless but I want to do this nonetheless:icon45: So Im gonna be needing you guys help and im gonna be asking alot of questions so I can learn. SO should I find turbo components and boost my NA L28E or find a complete Turbo motor and swap it all in, Ive check all the local yards for a L28ET and there weren any, if anyones got one for sale let me know please! Anyway thats my plea for help and advice so I can finally one day say " I have a turbo Datsun". BTW Ive noticed no one on here really does anything with the 280zx:( Any reason for that? Beside them being heavier? Thanks in advance

Hey guys, new to hybridZ and so far i love the forum. Anyway i have a S130 that i have basically finished restoring bodywise. Only problem is now i have a N/A high mileage engine and a 5spd tranny with worn synchros. I want to do a affordable swap so i was thinking maybe a sr20 s13 redtop? Thing i noticed tho i never seen anyone do a S130 before. Should I go for it and is it worth it?

Im not a hardcore anime fan but i love certain ones. I love Cowboy bebop it totally blew my mind, and the first stage of initial D. the 4th stage was horrible.

Hey guys! um i just d/l two of the files and all i got were some pics like only 10. How is it soposed to be read? But dam this looks sick! ive known about wangan midnight for awhile but have never been able to find anything on it. This is alot like initial D ("the car is a ghost" hhhmmm just like ghost of akina 86)with a interesting story too. Oh and about the sick status of S30s in japan, they put a S30 as the final boss and car in tokyo xtreme racer 0!
