Thanks for the quick replies guys, I could use any help I get -yep money is a major issue, that is why i am going ahead and turboing my N/A motor because i couldnt afford to buy a L28ET and have it shipped too, Also I am getting a good deal on the turbo components I have listed in my first post. -I had no idea i could run my stock ECU with boost! thanks for that guys! Oh also i am not planning on running anything but the stock T3's wastegate's 7 or 8psi so I should be fine with the stock ECU then? Oh and are all the parts I listed above is everything i need to do the conversion correct? Im a full time student and my spring break is about to end in 4 days so i want to hopefully do everything and finish over the weekend! - oh and heres a question I really wanted to know about: When I turbo my NA with its stock ECU is there anyway I can get a tune? I know its gonna have a few quirks just like any NA engine that gets boosted. Do I have to live with the few problems itll have until i get MS and get that tuned? Sorry for all the noob questions guys but I want to do this right! this is my first major work on my Z that im gonna do since ive had it.

Are you turboing your N/A motor or swapping in a complete turbo motor? Oh and im getting the turbo manifold, im looking for a Turbo ECU and wiring harness; Ill be needing them for turboing the N/A L28E correct?

Well lucky for us we were all Z fans before any of that and we all actually have Zs, plus I really dont mind now people will notice my car more I gues, I cant say I didnt feel good when i came out of an arcade where everyone plays WM and there were a couple kids looking at my car like it was the devil Z or something. Also I think youre panicking, i cant imagine people scrambling to buy Zs because of an anime. not gonna happen

hey guys, Im about to buy stock L28ET turbo, turbo manifold, turbo injectors, oil pan, and oil lines all in hopes to turbo my N/A motor. Now the person who is selling me all this is also selling a turbo intake manifold. Will I need the turbo intake manifold or am i better using my N/A one? Hey guys, well college term is about to end soon so i will finally have some freetime and of course I want to finally get a L28ET into my Z. Problem is I dont have a garage or tools or a engine lift. I was wondering if any Hybrid owners on here live in South FLorida and wont mind helping out a fellow Z owner with a swap? Ill pay you for your time and help! Please! LMK!

I went to a taping of PINKS! ALLOUT this last Sun. We stayed till 2am where they were still doing the qualifying for the final 16 all teh cars were 11sec or less...now i know why theres almost no one in the crowds in the night races, its cuase they do the final races around 4am. oh yeah saw Rich Christenson and the announcer guy too:mrgreen:

Hey guys...well i know im probably gonna get flamed for this post or told to search (which i did) but i read in one post that some 280zxs have the R200 Diff...I was wondering if anyone can tell me which mine has...its a 83 280ZX 5sp N/A. Im think I may have the R180 open becuase my car does one wheel fires. Assuming I dont have a LSD diff, Im looking to get a VLSD so I just wanted to know what diff I would have to use. Thanks

Yeah I thought so, RHD and japanese plate and Blitz,HKS and Trust decals all over it. believe it or not I love the look of the japanese Zs, both the S30s and S130s, seems like over there theres a much bigger aftermarket. I constantly see pics of 280zxs (i know, i know theyre 280Zs overthere:icon12:) with different widebody kits and such.

Wow that looks great! Do you know the owner of that car? I want to ask if he had to mod the flares to get them to fit flush. BTW does anyone know what front air dam is that??? Looks sick! I love how the turn signals are relocated and the side skirts look great too. Now that Im thinking about it, I want my Z to look like that! Love the XR4s too:-D
