hey i was reading on here once a while back about some cobra style side exhaust on a z i know this would take a lot of body work but was just wondering what every one thought about it and how efective it would be with a ford 302 obviously theres a lot of work to be done and besides the body work what else would be needed? thanks.

ok i am putting together a 240z from parts given to me i am going to keep a list of who gives me parts and keep it psoted on the web site i am going to start starting basicly i am doing this becouse i have almost no money and i need a car and im gona try and make it as good of one as i can they way i am thinking of it is that you are sponsering the car. i will probably race it a little bit. ok so far i have one donation to my cause 1982 280zx2+2 it has a good engine and some good interior parts but the rims and tires suck. the windsheald is a little craked but is driveable so i will drive it till i need to put the engine in the 240. this donation is thanks to Sven Oja who is also actually putting in new piston rings for me. the only thing i can offer in return for any help anyone offers is my service as a photographer. if you have any other requests i will try to include them. give me an e-mail if you have any good junk for me that i can use. the main thing i need at this moment is the 240 body. also if you donate any parts you will have first dibs on any of the left over parts that are donated. if you donate something and it is not used then i will give you the chance to have it back and if you dont want it then i will give the rest of the donators a chance at it and if i still dont get rid of it i will pass it on to someone else. my plans for the car (subject to change based on what parts i have) i want to put a 350 v8 chevy in it eventually but till then im going to put that 280zx in it with a turbo. i will be makeing it navy blue with a dark blood red raceing strip down the middle. untell i start getting parts im just going to leave it at that but if you want theres a really old poste on this site from awile ago of a dream z that i posted. well thats about it, once agean my e-mail is jmueller@napanet.net i love ideas

ok im haveing an argument with my friend about raceing stripes on a z i think they look fine but he thinks the rear makes it look bad dose anyone here have raceing stripes on theirs and have some pics also if anyone wants to put in a word or two that would be nice. by the way im thinking dark navy blue with 2 dark blood red raceing stripes. what do you all think

ok i have a question i need to put new seats in a 240z and i want to spend the least amount of money posible and i was just wondering how hard it would be to steal the seats from my 280zx 2+2 just the front seats obviosly. thanks for the help Julius

ok im putting in an engine from a 1980 280zx 2+2 and i am not sure if im going to keep the fuel injection or the stoc carbs from the 240z (1972) i was just wondering whats easyer and what i would have to change for one or the other. can anyone tell me what the the good points are and what the bad ones are about both. thanks Julius

hey guys i thought it would be fun to list every mod you would love to do to your dream z and just see were it gos. who knows mabie we will get some new ideas ok im young so i have lots of time left to make this happen but there are a few things i might never get around to -71 240z -chevy 350 and all the normal v8 mods like brakes and suspension -5 speed from a 280z -cobra style side exaust but i cant deside if i want it mat black or cromed (saw something posted about a z car with it) -really nice headers -wider tires in the back -epoxy based under coat of paint with a nice dark blue with two blood red strips down the senter with one silver stripe in the middle -blood red interior -im not even going to start with the sterio stuff - custom bumpers (mat black steal 2 inch bars) -2 inch sway bars -the last finishing touch is i want to find some of the z hubcaps well thant it for now mabie ill pick up some good ideas from you guys

i know some guy just asked about putting a v8 in a zx 2+2 and i was just thinking about it before i read that. what would the handleing be like on something like that and what would you have to do to get something like that to pass smog if it evven could?
