alexdeprat: If you're looking for Carbon Fiber or Fiberglass Hatches, Beta Motorsports produces some beautiful examples. Does say that it can mount stock window and such, but might require modification for hatch shock which is simple.
Thank you, I truly appreciate the help, in fact I just ordered a C/F Hatch and a C/F Hood from Raceonusa their products is more or less F/G with a top layer of C/F on, will see how it turns out. John C. (Beta Motorsport) stuff is pure C/F that I will buy on a later time for my other all out race Z.
Take care and thank you,
Alex

Well, I just called today and they told me that they are not making any composite (F/G OR C/F) parts at the moment, that perhaps in about a month they can start production since they don’t have enough orders to fulfill demand. I feel for then, this economy that we’re facing is just terrible (that’s another story).

They are out of Greensboro, NC and use to be Japco. I am going to go up there this coming week to take a look at their kit and see my grandkids at the same time. I am looking at putting it on a 240Z I am turning into a race only car. Don't know if the flairs will fit the rims I want to run. May have to go to the IMSA style kit. Looking at 16X12 on back and 16X10 for the front.
Greetings,
Will you be so kind and please place close attention to their Zcar Rear hatch, i.e how strong you think it is, and if it can be mounted with the stock rear hatch components (of course mod require), nevertheless any info will be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Alex

If my memory is correct I think the stock dished pistons on the P90 head is, 7.4-1 I could be wrong. Check the Turbo/Supercharge Section on the Forum (http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=84860), perhaps you can find a more accurate answer.
Good Luck,

I am not asking how to remove them, I will do that with a plasma. I am asking what the best way would be to semi-mold a new metal piece in to attach the new flares that will stay consistant with the body lines of the car.
Oh Gotha! Well to be very honest with you, once the flares are removed, I will buy a pair of ¼ panels either new (some vendors have then-eBay had a pair not too long ago-) or go to a salvage yard with a grinder or a plasma and cut yourself some good sheet metal (1/4 panels), going that route will guarantee you a more consistent marriage with the counter lines on the sheet metal; There is always option B.2)buy a cheap s30 rolling chassis and get finger happy with it..
Take care,
Alex

Beautiful flares, nevertheless if you wish to remove then I’ll recommend for you to sand the entire ¼ panel or were you believe that the flares is married to the original metal, once you get to the weld, it should be an easy removal from there, a grinder or a chisel, and take it to town. Nonetheless, as per the pictures, it looks like a well done job, perhaps all you need is some coilover to lower the Z just a bit and make the flares look functional and not so high. Good luck.

Update: SSAC just responded. They have officially declined my offer to modify my turbo header for use as a template. My involvement with this project has also come to a close. I did my best to help the group and to ultimately help myself but it's all been for not. I will modify the header I purchased to perfectly fit my car but I'm not sure when or at what cost. I wish you all luck on getting this group buy up and going again.John, your the best. I sincerely appreciate the effort and sacrifice. Best of luck with your build.Anyone made some progress?
I believe that the effort to get a decent quality L-6 Turbo Header group buy, has being put on hold until further notice, or until a reputable fabricator is brave enough to jump on the built.

No kidding…. just like the previous posts, 5.9 Dodge Cummins seems to run circles around the competition when towing is the main topic, and not to mention MPG, a winner for sure.

Just like the title state. I truly don’t know what to think, either cool or pure tacky....You be the judge.

If you follow F1 you'll know the Honda decided to take it in the pants for 2008. They were one of the most well funded teams last year and completely shifted focus to 2009. They made that decision after Ross Brawn arrived and saw the performance of their car in 07 winter tests.
The question now is can a home be found for this team. They have some of the most up to date resources of any F1 team and poached considerable to help them out.

True statement!

Ditto! and if they don't, I also agree that it will be as bad as the CART/IRL fiasco... (if F1 split). CART series used to be fun to watch, heck! almost as good as watching F1.
