    I have been told by ACL gaskets to always run the engine up to opperating temp with no coolant.Let cool then add the coolant.Have done this for last 30years with no problems

    MLS head gaskets need to be run with no coolant in the water first. Then coolant added later.

    Sorry guys. I meant brand of valve.Have see end result off some ss valves. Head droped off at 8200rpm not nice.Was not sure of brand,using manley at present but getting hard to find.

    Hi everyone. Iam building a L24 engine that is going to rev to about 8000rpm could someone recommend valves for this engine. It is to be used for tarmac rally . thanks
