Hi, I have an '82 s130 that I converted to carb, I removed all F/I wiring including ECM, I now have a Summit ignition box, a GM ignition Module, and a MSD Blaster 2 coil for ignition, I've been try to get it to spark but have had no success. Any help I can get would be appreciated. Thanks -David.

removing smog equipment like EGR and such does not increase hp, exhaust would add about 4-8 whp for full exhaust, I put 2-1/2" exhaust w/ no cat, magnaflow muffler and headers, with intake, felt a little bit of difference, car ran smoother but thats about it. Loud exhaust sometimes gives you the impression that you're going fast but you really aren't lol.

alright, thanks a lot, i'll take a look and see what happens, finally gonna get my car running after the 4-barrel setup was finished. I'll post pics sometime to see what you guys think of the swap...

Hi, I'm installing an msd 6AL box in my 280zx and I was wondering do I need a MSD tach adapter?

I had this same problem on my 280zx N/A and I changed everything you changed as well as the fuel pump and nothing then I changed the coil and that fixed the problem but if you want measure the coil with an ohmeter and also check all vacuum lines make sure they're not cracked or damaged.
