The Starion was rear wheel drive and some people use its tranny. The first generation 4AGE engine seem to be bolt on. The engine you`re planning to use might not be. Plus, a new engine mated to a 15 year old tranny does`nt look like a good idea.

You dont have to be that organize to know the parts listing of someone car. Where i grew up punks use to go to local car show and club gatering to have a look and take note. The owners of the car help them by putting a large board with all their mods just in case the thieves had missed something. Since its a small town you can find where they live just by driving around. - Alexideways, those cameras corner St-Catherine and St-Laurent got me in all kind of troubles. They can see reeeal good with those.

I had almost that exact same colour on my talon tsi. Was a factory volvo color, which ive never seen on any volvo on the road. Gave an all new look with the top and wheels painted black. No need to tell you that you cant get away from the law in an orange car, but thats probably not the purpose of your Z. Hey amazing car by the way.

Black was nice but white is just awesome. If your serious about selling your wheels, i'm interested. How's the fitment without flare and spacers? Off subject, that road must be a hell of a ride!

Thanks for the reply.Thats exactly what i was thinking Dizzy, drive it like you rent it then pull the engine ... if it's still running. Snail, any sure way to tell if the swap was done properly? Test drive is saturday, i'm really in need to drive a car again.

I guess my question is, is there any advantages in buying this car for a future swap in my z. Aside from the fact that i could tell if the engine is running strong and see first hand the affect of the upgrade i`m gonna make before the swap, is there anything specific about this transplant in this platform that could be use in my application. I know what it take to drop an RB into a z but not into an sx. Keep in mind that the nissan will be use has my daily driver for about 6 months before the z will be ready for its new heart. The car is about the same price as those equipped with an SR20det wich mean cheap, but not dirt cheap. I`ll be able to see the car next weekend, so any suggestion?
