here is what the car is looking like these days. turned out to be a huge job! getting close!

ya, im gona look around for a t-bird and buy the whole thing if the price is right.

ok, i was thinking about a 2.3 t-bird turbo coupe motor for a 240z. i figured i could buy a whole car for under a grand, then i would have the motor and trans and the efi harness and ecu. i drove one of them a few years back with a 5 speed, and the car hauled ass. so this motor would have to be able to pull a much lighter 240z around. what do you all think?

no way ill be able to do 10 hour days..lol....maybe 4-5 a day as i feel up to it. my back surgery will be last week of march or first week of april. i hope to be back to 80-100% after it but who knows. i think the 2 weeks might be quick, ill just take it as it comes. if i pull it off great, if it takes 4 weeks great. i just dont want it to be a year project that i dont finish and end up selling it all cause im sick of it..lol. im not doing a roll cage or anything like that. i want it to look stock from the interior.

if i have everything needed before hand, jtr book, jtr mounts, radiator, trans, drive shaft, headers, etc. and of course the car. think it can be done? ill have a 73 240z, 350 chevy motor and t-5 trans. i dont want it to turn into a while im at it project. i plan to do it this coming summer after i get my back surgery done and im up and running again. oh and ive been working on z's and muscle cars for a long long time.
