Put the motor in this weekend . Clutch is on its way. Hopefully ill have the rest of the driveline in by this weekend.Heres some more pictures -

All the brake lines and fuel lines are in[that was a bitch] sway bar in the front is in tie rods and ball joints are on the way looking to have this z at least rolling by December. pictures will be up soon on the progress -

I have a r200 with the cv axle set up now but i was wondering if the half shafts would work with my r200 diff and what about the calipers or rotors are they useable on the 240z? thanks

Hey i just picked up a 1990 300zx non turbo and i was wondering if the brakes were any of use to me for my 240z as well as the rear diff and cv axles also what about the 5 lug conversion will any of these parts be of any use to me on my 71 240z turbo project any imput would be much appreciated thanks Greg

I just had the bottom tub undercoated with reflex rubberized bedliner undercoating and then painted with the factory color 71 240z white -

s30 rear brake conversion question

Yes but my 1981 280zxt rear calipersa dont bolt up to the maxima brackets . The bracket bolt pattern is about 1 inch wider. Also what rotor [stock 280zx ] Are the 1981 zxt calipers different than the 82,83 zxt? If someone can post what caliper what rotor and what year these parts need to come off of that would be a big help thanks Greg -

OK so i have read and read to the point that i am lost . Ther are so many formulas for rear brake conversoins I have bought the 87 maxima brackets [flat heavy ones] i thoiught my 1981 280zxt calipers would work [WRONG] my question is do i need the 240sx calipers and rotors ? and maybe a spacer? please someone post or pm me the parts that i need and what year to get them from . thanks Greg Autosports -

Ive got a rust free 71 240 shell with turbo motor complete on the engine stand r200 rear end 5 spd tranny brand new sportmax wheels ready to be assembled . This was a complete car when i bought it and it is currently dissambled but all there along with custom fuel rail not yet installed on the motor . Hey there i have just parted out a turbo z and it has the cv shaft differential I have a few people interested in the cv shafts. They are in good shape with 70k my question is should i part with the cv or sell it as a unit [diff and cv,s ] i dont want to end up stuck with the diff because i sold the cv shafts but either way let me know a fair price as a unit and also a fair price if i justr sold the cv shafts thanks Greg post it or pm me thanks Greg

ok i have found the fuel problem the tank, fuel pump, lines, were all nasty as hell with old gas .The electrical is fine its just gummed up with bad gas thanks for your help. Greg AUTOSPORTS -

yeah i have spark the funny thing is the car ran before we tore it apart .when we power the fuel pump seperately it comes on but no fuel is coming out I just dont see how the pump could be bad or clogged up when it was running a week ago but we still dont have the pump coming on with the key -

I have taken an 1987 300 turbo automatic and converted it to a 5spd she is all put together and i have 2 problems one is the neutral safety switch.How do i [bypass / overide this switch]???? Secondly i dont have any pwr going to the fuel pump if anyone has any imput on what i will need to do to solve these issues your imput will be much appreciated thanks Greg

So is that possibly why the fuel pump isnt coming on due to the neutral safety switch loop not being completed
