IMO if you want green underbody neons, install them on your Catera or your 929...keep the z looking like the classy sportscar it is.

you mean the thing on the end of the inake manifold? thats the pop off valve, it's used as a saftey feature. it pops off if you overboost to save the motor.Originally posted by Jwink25:Isn't that the stock blow off valve in the background? Why is it still on?

wooooooooow... man, 6 webers, 12 cylinders... that thing is sooooo beautiful.

get an Apex'i N1 universal, i have one and i love it, one of the best mufflers out there IMO. but i'd also run 3in all the way back, no muffer no tip...rugged.

the G35 coupe is in the spirit of the Z 2+2.

i made a custom grill for my 280z using expanded aluminum mesh. it looks similar to the 432R grill but more flush because it comes out to the edge of the surrounding body, it also hides the 280z type turn signals so they aren't visible until you turn the signals on. i'll post some pics of it when i get it anodized/painted this weekend.

i think i'm going to end up getting a 350z antenna. they look pretty cool IMO.

i'm pretty sure msa sells them.

man, i'd love to get a set, but for 2500 i could probably get some volk TE37's.

Mark, love the mirrors. i'm going to add a pair to my z soon too.

looks like a nice system and it is dyno proven to free up more than 20HP/TQ. would the price drop if 14 people were signed up to buy the system? i'd be interested if he has a system for a 280z.

I LOVE WATANABE WHEELS!

so will the '87 3.70 lsd bolt directly into a 280z if you decide not to switch to cv's and stay with u-joints?Originally posted by zfan:I'm using the 1978 280Z half shafts with u-joints.
So far they are holding up! By the way I put all new Brute Force u-joints in. Better safe than sorry. 355 sbc/700r4 with 87 lsd 3.70 combo. No breaky breaky yet!

so, to preform this swap on my 76 280z i would need:
-Z31 turbo 3.70 diff
-Z31 turbo halfshafts
-Ross C's adaptor
is that correct?

corvette 6 speed on an L motor? sounds cool... so do your plans for the motor.
-
your going to need a 75-78 280z fuel tank and lines i believe.

i was looking at a miata's mirrors the other day thinking that they would be a good replacement for stock mirrors. the power steering rack sounds very interesting, let us know how it goes.

-euro bumpers are the ones you want to get. they only have 2 holes in them, and no rubber strips like the 240z's had.
-70-72 has bumpers that sit close to the body. In 73 they changed to a larger bumper that sits a little further away from the car.
-240z's dash is different from 260z and 280z, but i have sat in a 240z with a 280z dash so i believe they are interchangeable.

the wheels on the white fairlady are Panasport C8R, as Datto said above.Originally posted by zline:yup quite nice...but noone on this board knows what wheels the white Z i had posted is running? jeez...! come on guys! wheel gurus?!($&@!

HIDs for a 240...
in Body Kits & Paint

man, i'd love to put in some HIDs, but i just can't justify the price. it would be more cost effective to get your relays done, and install some hugh quality H4 bulbs, like the sylvannias mentioned above.
