  1. We're currently getting no spark, but the motor is turning over. The fuel pump also won't stop priming? It normally runs for 5 seconds or whatever while the key is on the "ON" position. But it's going continuously. We're getting closer but no cigar. I'll try to get pictures, I just want it to fire up (I know it won't run right) but were getting close. Any clue on the fuel pump? it's already annoying
  2. Everything is bolted in mechanically (What I'm good at...) When it comes down to wiring I'm getting wrecked. I honest to god have no idea what to do. I've hooked a couple wires together, off of the diagram given here http://strausz.us/zcar/turboswap/ I'm not even sure if it's correct. Can anyone call and help me? or give me some sort of walkthrough? This is honestly a nightmare, but for all I know it might be easier than I'm making it.   3. Hey guys, I'm sure this has been asked 2098190284 times before, but I've searched high and low and can't find what I'm looking for for the life of me. I have an entire L28et swap from an 1983 turbo minus tranny I have -ECU -uncut harness -rebuilt turbo -everything from valve cover to oil pan -full dash (analog dash), boost gauge cluster etc I was wondering what the main differences are in the wiring harnesses from NA to the turbo harness, (is it a few wires or what) and the differences between the digital and analog dashes (I have a digital currently) This is my first turbo swap and I want it to go as smoothly as possible, I've printed some diagrams and a write up I found, but I was wondering if I need to change out my entire harness to put in my motor.   5. What clutch do you have? I just don't know if a KA clutch will work.
  6. I know the bolt pattern is the same, but I was wondering if anyone here has done it, and what clutch they're using. I have a lightened KA flywheel sitting here, and no 240sx to put it on Thanks! Jordan

  8. Hey guys, just a few questions for the Veterans of the swap, this is my first, and I'm new to forced induction. I've read a lot about it, tutorials and blah blah, but I'm a college kid so I have a semi low budget, and bought the motor to throw in my 83zx to have a little fun. I'm looking for 225hp-250hp to the wheels, something mild and to learn the basics of the motor and keep my bank account alive. My swap will include everything needed, ECU, harness, motor/turbo, etc etc for 225-250 I'm guessing I need intercooler bigger injectors turn up the boost? not sure if the stock turbo can handle that. (Already have a 3 inch with no CAT) Any input is welcome, potential problems with the swap and things to look out for. Thanks! Jordan PS Mine has a digital dash...the new swap comes with an analog...I was wondering if I can switch them? (the digital is starting to go)

So I got a text message this morning, I guess my dad melted my rear bumper by putting the power washer exhaust too close to my bumper while washing the other cars, So I need a rear bumper/bumper skin for the rear bumper because mines fried (literally) let me know what you have! jdk5279@psu.edu Thanks Jordan
  11. yep I think I did I just don't want to be hunting down a mass amount of parts because I need to have this swapped in over a weekend if I get ahold of it. (this is my daily driver) I have my dad to help me, so we should definitely be able to get it going. Can you email me if you get the chance before you put the add up? If it's what I need for the right price then I don't want it to slip away because I didn't check here fast enough. Thanks!
