Acording to the previous owner it sat there for two years, but the tags say 2005 yes it has some rust issues but not bad. The hatch is good just surface rust.

Well I put a battery on and it needs a starter solenoid. I removed the spark plugs to turn the engine by hand and it turns good. It needs a slave cylinder and I will have to replace the flywheel because I took the starter out and the teeth were all striped and worn. Good thing I have a 240z flywheel.

Its a 74 260z. Its got the 280z hood and 280zx engine and tranny.

She is home.

Well I picked it up the z today and it looks pretty good. Im going to buy a batery and get the old fuel and see what happens...wish me luck. I haven't downloaded any pic cause my phone broke and I will not be getting one til mon or tues.

Well I just bought me a 260z. Its pretty rough but I could work with it. The interior is preaty clean and stock exept for a weird small stering wheel. I think I might of overpaid for it but it has alot of stuff already done to it. It has a header with twice pipes and what I saw was a p79 head and the block is unknown i didn't check cause I was oh so exited. It has some surface rust nothing major that I could see. Oh yeah its got a 5 speed manual transmission. It has some kind of old skool wheels with four flat tires. I will post pics of it soon out of my phone need a new on it just broke on me. But im happy with my purchase the guy wanted 1500 I got it for 1000 I will be picking it up tomorriow morning

Thanks for the replies guys now all I need is some time to work on it. Since I work in the oil fields now its a little challenging to work on my cars all I want to do now is rest ill probably take vacation time and do it then. I think I will go with the z1 pcv set. I might just upgrade injectors to new style but the price holds me back because its a big chunck of change. Ill probably just fix her up and enjoy her the way she is. Thanks again guys.

I was running .82 bars its around 12 psi right? U might be right because I turned the car on and now I get a ticking out of a connector from the ebc that hooks up to the blow off valves.(sorry don't know what its called).

Pcv valves were stuck and the hoses were breaking apart so I need to go to the stealership to get new hoses and valves. I still think I got 2 bad injectors cause I put a long screw driver to listen to the injectors and the two closest to the driver side I can't hear a tic. Any other way to check them? Thanks

Well I was driving home from work and I turned up the boost to about 12psi then as I got off the freeway I felt it kind of stutter and shake alilttle bit and sound like it was going to turn off. I made it home but there was a lot of smoke comming from under the car and it smelled like burned oil. I opened the hood and I had a lot of oil all over the driver side on the engine I noticed the dipstick was sticking out and pushed it back in. As for the shaking and stuttering it got worse it stalled every time I started it. I think its my pcv valves are stuck shut and maybe bad fuel injector or injectors. Its a 92 z32tt Apexi boost controller Hks blow off valves Jwt pop charger and chip Stillen 3in cat back exhaust Hks turbo timer Everithing else is stock has any one had this on their z

well what im going to do is a 2 tone dark tan on top and lighter tan on the bottom. i still havent seen any z like that.

sorry guys... i have not finished the flares yet. i only have 3 of them done and also my computer went to s!?t so i havent been able to post anything. well as i said i only have 3 of them done i have not been able to work on my car i will get back to you guys soon on the flares i hope they come out looking good or ill be somewhat disapointed.

thanks but i dont know if it will come out right. i kinda like the chrome look, now if only i could get my hands on a set of euro bumpers.... now that would be awsome.

yeah its duct tape ill be covering it with foil because im afraid something like that will happen. i put the tape in so it fills in the little imperfections and see what the somewhat finished product will look like.
