venus auto has front clips for $2500shipped w/auto or 5speed.

Its been done on a few cars. The first car that comes to my mind is the 1st gen. MR2. Do a search on google for it and you should be able to find some info.

Could any of my fellow hybriderZ recommend me to a good shop in the Austin area that could work on my 350z? She has been down for to long and I don’t have time to keep on working on her myself. Also I have some tranny/rearend questions. I currently have a 4speed with a R200 rearend...How much power can the R200 hold? Should I be looking to upgrade to a chevy rearend? My motor is almost putting out 400hp and should be putting out over 400hp shortly, can the R200 hold this? I also would like to get rid of this damn munich(sp?) 4speed and replace it with a nice 5 or 6 speed thats better suited for roadracing. Will a 5/6spd bolt right in inplace of the 4speed or will more fabrication need to be done?

So I guess I would be testing new water if I put a 13bT in there, a 1jz probably wouldnt fit. Anyone know a site where I could find out some more info on the car or parts for them? I was wondering if it would be possible to do a widebody on one...the tires on those cars have to be extremly small and it doesnt look like there is much room to go bigger.

Ok well I havent been posting in awhile but its about time for me to start building a project car. Since almost all the 240z's I looked at were a little to much for a project car I started thinking about building up a roadster. Anyone on here ever swap anything into one? Are they are easy too play with as 240's? Any info is good info. I havent decided yet what engine I am going to use (Thread: Best motor for a roadrace car) For this car though I will probably be looking at a 1jz(if it isnt to big), a 13BT, a 3SGTE, or a 4G63...

Since im a lazy American (something im not to happy about...hehe) and didnt go to the site ill ask this, can you read the article online? If its a decent guide to doing the swap then that would solve my problem of chosing and engine to swap into a 240

I emailed both places and havent heard back from them yet. Hopefully they will get back with me. A 1 or 2jz might just be a better way to go.

Back to the 3SGTE...anyone know what "ST205" stands for? Maybe Celica GT4 means something to you? The ST205 is the code for the Celica GT4(alltrac) It comes with a 3SGTE engine, AWD, and a 6speed. Does that turn any one else on or is it just me? lol. 240Zduz10s said that the intake manifold is of falty design on the 3SGTE, could that be fixed with simply an aftermarket IM?

Hey dude, 1st gen RX-7 are some wicked little cars! Before I turned to the Z side I was thinking of building one. But that was long ago and I have now moved on to the Z hehe. How much do you think one of the custom Intake Mani's are running for? do you know where to find the ideal IM or who makes the best one? The 3SGTE could easily make 500rwhp, or AWHP in my case *grin* Do you know by any chance how strong that St205 6-speed is?

SUSPENSION is definatly a key word. Im not ignoring it by any means.

Does it have any sort of engine in it at the time? If you are interested I might be interested in trading you my Talon TSi?

Im a big supra fan and love the supra engines. I think a 7m,1jz, or 2jz would make great engines for the car. I just cant quit decide what would be THE BEST. The 4G63 or 4G64 would be a cool swap since it is so light and can make a lot of power. If you could keep the AWD that would be a nifty thing to have in a Z. I would personaly love to have an AWD Z. But the dsm awd drive train isnt the best out there as well... DSM's are known to brake But so is any car you abuse =P

Sound's easy enough. How much do you think the setup would cost including building the hybrid motor? Let us know when you put it in your Z and how you did it.
