They are 22mm but the spindle had threads. I think the previous owner installed 280zx hubs onto the 240z spindle. Now I need to get some 240z/260z/280z hubs. Thanks for the help guys.

Wondering if anybody can tell me whats going on. I'm familiar with the 280zx caliper/300zx rotor brake upgrade but i'm not sure if that is what I have. I just got a 71 240z and the PO installed 280zx calipers on the front. What I'm trying to figure out is whether my hubs are from a 280z or 280zx. The caliper mounting holes(on the hub) were threaded but have been drilled out to allow the 280zx calipers to mount up. I have been talking with Dave at Arizona Z Car to figure out if his Wilwood brake kit (12.2") will work but he believes I have 280zx hubs. He told me to get 280z hubs but thats not an option for me. If they are 280zx hubs, then why would they need to be drilled out? Wouldn't they just bolt up with all components being from a 280zx if that was the case? I guess i'll get a better idea of what rotor I have once I figure out what hub is on there.

I am looking for a FS5W71C transmission out of any car that had that type of trans. If someone has one with the bell housing that mounts to a l28 already, that would be perfect. Im in Simi Valley, CA Text 805-404-6974 Pics would be great.
