could i just say buy a t3/t4 turbo and weld a flange to the exhaust and bolt the turbo up that way? and have the exhaust continue from the other end of the turbo?

im trying to decide whether to go with a traditional turbo setup(intercooler, piping, etc.) or to go with a rear mounted turbo setup....i was just wondering if anyone has a rmt and what are the differences in gains?

i have a 280zx 2+2 parts car i have weatherstripping from the t-tops i will have to check the condition....pm me if your interested....

i just bought some tokico illuminas for the front, but i was wondering if there are any struts that are adjustable for the rear. i have a 1980 280zx.....thanks

the wheels i have on my n/a 280zx are 17x7 45mm offset...4x114.3, i had to get 35mm wheel spacers

yeap thats what im talking about....the reason i needed to know is because im putting my cold air intake on and unlike my old z this one has that on it conecting into the stock intake.....thanks for the help

would 17x7s in the front and 18x7.5s in the back look stupid?

i was just wondering if an 18X7.5 with a 45mm offset would have a bigger lip then a 17x7 with a 40mm offset.......i think the lip would be somewhere around 3/8ths of an inch wider, anyone know?

can this be removed?? it comes off of the exhaust manifold and i need to take it off in order to put my cai on....thanks

avalance i got rims for my 1981 280zx from www.discounttiredirect.com you should check it out i believe the bolt pattern was 4X114.3 pm me if you want to see my rims (i had to get spacers also) or you can check www.zcarparts.com they have some old school looking rims

it is actually really easy to put the front speakers in under the dash....there are only like 8 bolts/screws that hold on the dash so comes out really easy...i have done it a couple of times...this way you wont have to cut into anything or try to put the speakers in a different location...pm me if you have any questions

from what i gather about remote turbos is that, yes they are commonly used if there is no space in the engine, but they are 97% more efficient and keep the engine 100 degrees cooler....sts sells a universal kit, but my idea is to just to a front turbo setup but in the back(so i dont have to have turbo manifold) and to keep the engine cool.....plus it would look stock
