  1. Any updates? I'm dying in anticipation of using these on the track!!

  3. Oh man...seems like such a shame. Especially since the Z's are so prone to rot. Mine hasn't seen rain since 2004 lol! Then comes out on sunny days and track days to get abused...lol...hence the need for big brakes!
  4. You drive your 280 in the winter?? :0 You could always swap the brake kit back to stock equipment for winter too...big brakes won't do you much good in the snow lol
  5. Cool! Thanks again for all the hard work to figure out this kit!
  6. What kind of time frame are you thinking for the first couple "ready to go" kits?
  7. The s130's have factory rear disc. So a sport pad and slotted rotor plus a brake bias adjustment valve should be more than enough to get the balance dialed in....
  8. I would imagine that anything from a newer vehicle (last 5-10 years) would be pretty expensive...which would be difficult to keep in and around the $500 range for a kit.
  9. Slotted stock size rotors and performance pads aren't sufficient for your application? Just curious...
  10. The car typically has the from wheels tucked pretty far in under the front fenders. I'm running an 8" wide wheel (225/50r16) all around and I'm not even close to rubbing. There's more than enough room to move them out a bit without any issues. Longer wheel studs are relatively inexpensive and would be good to add to the kit if you go this route. Thanks. Rob.Â
  11. Hmm...I'm not sure what the availability will be like...but maybe the brembo caliper off the 350z or sentra spec-v? Similar in size to the 4 pot you'd like to use but maybe easier to source? Price may be the killer on this one though...
  12. Subaru 4 pots are similar in size to the 300zxtt...even use the same pad as far as I know. I think stock WRX rotors are around 12" as well....
  13. Hey Edan, As we've been emailing back and forth over the last month...here's my list. - 12" vented disc (preferably slotted) - 4 pot caliper - adapter brackets, pads, stainless lines included - I would be fine with a front kit only since the 280zx had factory rear disc...a prop. Valve should be sufficient - price...roughly $400-$500 (Agee that the AZ kit is priced kinda high) My Z has the old school 16"x8" mesh enkeis on (0 offset) Thanks again! Rob.
