My front turn signals work when switch is on but the rears dont work on my 72 z. Anyone have any suggestions before i get to work on them?

On my 72 datsun z on the metal brake lines the 10 mm bolt connect to the line is almost stripped. I have a 10mm flare nut wrench but it still the bolt is stripping. I need to remove because the metal brake line broke. Any suggestion on how to remove it with out stripping it any further?

I actually got them free from my bro. Not sure where they were bought from. -
Datsun 72 Z. I installed tockico blues and springs with 1.0 inch drop. I also replaced ball joints and bump steer spacers. After everything was installed i put rim back on and noticed the tie rod now hits the inside of the 14 inch stock rim not allowing it to spin freely. So I test fitted my Sportmax 003 15 inch rims.They slightly rub still on the ball joing. Im assuming this is normal after modifying the stock suspension? Will spacers and bigger rims clear up this mess?

I was removing the front left brake line and while i was loosening the line the metal line the runs from the hose to the rear of the caliper broke because it was really worn out. Where can i get a replacement? If possible.

Are the bump steer spacers needed when going lower than 1 inch or just modifying stock suspension height period?

im gonna order -
Im gonna get my gas tank boiled and lined. My question is how am i suppose to remove the fuel sending unit so i can take it to get boiled? Do i tap it out with a hammer and screwdriver? Looks like its possible... 72 datsun 240z

Ok so i found a place that will boil and seal the tank for 125. Question: Does anyone have any bad experiences after doing the lining? I have the usual rust but am still debating if i should just boil the tank and not get it lined to save problems later down the road. Your thoughts please.

On my 72 Datsun Z while driving above speeds of 50MPH the steering wheel begins to shake excessively. I recently replaced the steering coupler so it cant be that. Could a bad allignment be the cause of this? I just wanted to this if this has happened to anyone before i start taking and replacing parts.

I looked at my starter today and noticed the harness was totally fried and the wire was exposed. Anybody know where I can purchase a new one? I was thinking junkyard but these are always gone by the time i get there. Its the harness with the wire running to the positive side of the starter. It has a tad of yellow on it.

Heres the story on the motor. Rebuilt 1972 L24 motor that has been in garage for 10 years. Put into my 72 Datsun 240z. After being put in cars been dieseling every other time I start and drive car. Engine has been Seafoamed. Still diesels. What other items should I check?

Would an exhaust leak from the headers or a worn valve cover gasket cause dieseling? I tried Seafoam and car still diesels.

What size tires are you running with your sportmax 002 rims. I wanna get an idea of what they look like with 225-50-15 or 195-50-15.

Has anyone tried sea foam on their datsuns? non FI models? Does this stuff really work? Ive been reading good reviews about it.

Would a loose intake manifold or exhaust manifold cause dieseling? I can hear an exhaust leak and wondered if this adds to the dieseling problem ive been having.

Where can i get one complete with 2 rods and top brace with all bolts? My car never came with one and i cant find any at junkyards so ill have to buy new for my 72 Z.
