I'm looking for a pair of 240Z front turn signals so that I can mount a 240Z air dam on my 280Z. If you have some, please send pictures along with a price including shipping to 54311.

I will be replacing the bumpers on my 280Z with those from a 240Z and adding a 240Z front air dam and turn signals so I'm looking for 240Z bumpers (front and rear), grill, turn signals, and air dam. I will be in Melbourne, FL until May 7th and in Green Bay, WI after that. I'll pick up a good part within about 75 miles or pay for shipping. I would like to get bumpers that are in decent condition.

The only concern I have with the shell is that I don't have room to store any extra parts that I don't need because I'm living in a tiny apartment and I can't store anything outside. I am looking for a passenger's side rear quarter panel from a 240Z (260Z, 280Z are okay but I prefer 240Z) to replace the panel that is on my car right now. Here is a picture of the damage so you can see what I need. A small amount of rust on the panel is okay. I am only replacing the quarter panel at this time and plan to repair the door/fender. I would like to spend about $125 on the part and I am willing to pay shipping if I cannot find a part within driving distance. I am located in Melbourne, FL 32901. I shipped the car to Florida so I can work on it often enough to get it going strong. The car runs very well right now on a stock T3 turbo and I plan to upgrade the turbo as soon as I break in the clutch. Hopefully this will be done before next winter. I am happy that the car runs well at this point after not being able to drive it for 2.5 years. At this point, I need to replace the springs and shocks because the rear tires are rubbing on the rear quarters. I plan to take the car to the track by the end of the upcoming summer. Other things that I plan to do soon are replace the passenger side fender, door, and rear quarter panel as well as install early style bumpers and finally get the car painted.

I'm looking for a Z car that I can use as a daily driver. I already have a 240Z turbo project that I'm working on but now I'm looking for a reliable daily driver. I would like for the car to have the following: Price: < $4000 Reliable. Location: < 200 miles from Melbourne, FL 32901 Transmission: Manual Mileage: Any Minimal rust desired The body and interior don't have to be in great condition but I would prefer for everything to be there. Working electronics (gauges, lights, etc.) If a 280ZX or 300ZX, I would like for it to be turbocharged and have t-tops. These are just things that I would like the car to have. If you have something that is close to meeting what I've written above, let me know and I'm probably still interested. I am looking for a solid car that I can drive to and from school/work every day without having to spend too much time under the hood. I don't expect to find a flawless car for this price. The car doesn't have to be modified in any way but it can be. Price, reliability, and location are the most important considerations for this car, in order of importance. Before that I need to sell my old T04S 60-1. I'm going to try to get this finished in the summer of 2008 while home from college. My goal for this setup is 350rwhp with pretty much instantaneous throttle response. Another thing that I've tried to do with this car is make all the modifications as undetectable as possible. The boost gauge, afr gauge, and megasquirt are all mounted in the glove box so if necessary they can be hidden very easily. The intercooler is painted black. Most people just see this as a stock 240Z. I might be able to get more pictures around late December. The intercooler pipes will be painted black again as soon as I have time. I've also changed the routing for the new intercooler but I don't have any pictures yet. Cosmetics really aren't a concern of mine. I'm also going to get either t-bolt clamps or double up on the clamps I have now. The day after Christmas and I'm already back out working on the Z.

Alright, thanks. I wanted to make sure it can produce that much power and do so efficiently. It's really surprising that more people haven't used this turbo, for my needs it seems too good to be true.

Any updates? Can this turbo support ~350 rwhp? I haven't been able to find any definite answers in the archives. It looks very promising, though.

Thanks, that's the answer to the question I was asking. I wanted to confirm that running without a thermostat would cause problems. I wasn't sure if it was something people did for performance reasons.

I just got home from college a couple weeks ago and I've been working on getting the turbo z up and running a lot lately and decided to replace the thermostat housing. I found out that the Pinks crew decided not to use a thermostat, I don't recall this being discussed (sorry if I'm wrong). I've read some on this but I've only found that the effect of this on overheating varies with different types of engines. Some people don't have a problem while some overheat. I'm wondering if the coolant was able to spend enough time in the radiator to cool down. I haven't found how this will affect the L28 specifically. Has anyone had any experience with this? Here is a picture of the bare thermostat housing compared to a stock 240Z housing. It's the long block that I won from the Pinks car. I'm trying to make sure that the car doesn't overheat on me once I get closer to finishing it.
