Hello guys, I'm looking to buy a set of Per-Spec aka Performance Specialties rims or PS Mag and also P/S Mags. These were also made by American Racing and others. I'm looking for these 2 styles in the photos below in either a 14x7, 15x7 or 15x6 size, will settle for a 14x6 if thats all thats out there. I'd be willing to trade a ANSA Twin Stack Exhaust. The first style has a flat lip and the 2nd style has a slope lip. I would really like to have the slope lip as a have the flat lip already. My thought exactly, theres no set standared on 3,000 RPM's. Thats like saying all cars are the same and loud at 3K can't be quiet on another, stock or otherwise. And the descreation of the officer is inherently unconstontutional. ~Z~

Clean Z you got there Cliff, and good points, but does anyone know if a 240Z HG is different than a 280Z, i.e. blocking any water or oil passages?

Another part to add to the tool bin Well I'm scheduled to get the engine rebuilt, "again", but like to atleast know whats wrong since my race mechanic is letting me bring my own parts for the rebuild. Like to get her to sound more like a race car instead of the dying semi truck she does ~Z~

Temp sensore looks ok, tried to get a replacement from MSA but the bolt head twisted off the sensore and it wasn't even that tight when it happend. So reused the old one. 2 of the 6 injectors are new NAPA brnad put the others could be cleaned or replaced also since the car sopposedy sat for 2 years in a garage after the engine rebuild and the owner gave up fixing it. Fuel pump is new and fuel filter also. BTW is adding oil called a leak down test? ~Z~

Hello All Out There I also have a '77 280Z 4 speed with N42 Block and N47 head that has the exact same symptoms. The previouse owner had the engine rebuilt but who ever reassembled it put on (or) ordered the wrong gasket kit. The intake / exhaust gasket was the Carborated 240Z/260Z kind with no holes for the fuel injectors to squirt through. I have since replaced that with the correct N47 kind. Before I did that she was over heating to the redline temp. I suspect this was the case the P.O. was having as well since there were spare parts in the hatch like he was trying to fix the problem too not knowing the Int/Ex gasket was wrong. Well my Question is are the head gaskets for the 240Z / 260Z different from the 280Z ? Assuming they ordered a complet but wrong engine gasket kit. My compression is 150 across the board and with a teaspoon of oil it is 170-175. My NGK plugs have oil on them and there also appears to be oil in the radiator which looks like Brown Chocolate Swirls, white smoke blows also and she hesitates as if the fuel is being blocked by back preasure in the lines. Number 4 Fuel Injector not working aswell, changed Injector and spark plugs and now #4 pings like it's misfiring making the engine "tilt" to one side when it pings. I think it may have a stuck valve from needing a valve adjustment though BTW. Not 100% sure if it's #4 pinging as I shut her off before pulling the injector conector or plug wire to see if engine idle changed, figured best to turn off before blowing something. Any help would be apriciated on the head gasket though please cause I think it might be blown, among other "dominoed" problems from the overheating . Thyanx ~Z~
