how many bolts hold the A/C pump in? I know that you have to remove the pump and then the bracket tht holds it on. *forgot to mention that i am trying to remove this while the engine is still in the car*

Well I took off the oil cap and a little smoke came out so i assumed is was the head gasket. i had no money left so i let it sit for a month then tried to restart it. it started right up and runs fine! i dont know what it is but just to be safe i will change the head gasket soon. also i read from another post that it could have been rust clogging the fuel filter causing rpm's to drop so i will drop the tank also. And when i say overheat i mean in the red zone with radiator fluid nearly blowing the cap off.

got my first car in Jan. which was a 77 2+2 280z. drove fine untill about a month ago when on my way home it began to overheat. i had just changed the water pump and gasket so i had no idea whgat it was. it hasnt been able to start since then! someone HEEEEELP. Im only 16 and just learning about datsuns. I think it may be the head gasket but im not positive. any suggestions?

i have a 77 280z 2+2 and i need a motor. My L28 died about a month ago. It must be running and preferably another L28 but if it is an RB or some other swap, it must come with neccesary things like wiring harness and ecu. Im only 16 so dont expect me to be able to throw in a honda B16 or some crazy swap of that sort.
