  1. Hey guys, since this sounds like a good investment, I need some exercise, and already spent $150 on cool toys for this project. I was wondering, if I were to take a small, 4 or 6 inch roller and put a small amount of paint on it...probably in an inverse color such as white (to go on black). If I could do something like a brushed fine water splatter-like decal/pinstripe. You know, sorta like a sponge painted stripe. Oh hell, I'll use a sponge... Anyway, I was wondering if it actually as easy as it sounds. Or if there is some layer trick or sanding technique I won't be abiding by. Just thought of it, so I had to post it up.
  2. Well, I'm ghetto and I just custom fabricated some square bar onto a thicker piece of sheet metal, mainly because the shell I have had some interior rust (Previous owner didnt garage a rag top). I also like to sit higher than most. I have no idea if the seats themselves fit in the original sliders or anything, because my car was completely stripped of everything when I bought it. Actually, I don't even know if Z's have seat slider's or what the original seat components look like at all. No banging and hammering, though.
  3. I got mine off of a Porsche 914 in the junkyard. Just had to remove the seatbelt brackets and they dropped in nice.
