  1. Also good, but I think I just found it. The person I have been looking for is Tim240Z. I found his relay board in an old post. Hey tim, is it possible to get your wiring diagram and schematics for this setup? Thanks, ~The Good Humor Man
  2. Not exactly the one I was looking for but I think it is a great place to start. Kudos to you! Thanks, ~The Good Humor Man
  3. Well then, this is a shout out to olderthanme, Please I could use your help. Thanks, ~The Good Humor Man
  4. I dont remember what thread it was in, but I found a picture of a wiring harness that was custom made by someone on this site, and I cant find it again. He had a relay on the board for pretty much everything. I remember that the wiring was pretty much flawless. Not a single wire out of place. Can someone help me find it? I have accumulated probably 2-3 hours of searching but I cant find it anywhere! Please! Oh, I also need it by the end of the day. I cant use my computer starting tomorrow, so I need to get this picture as soon as possible. Thanks, ~The Good Humor Man
  5. I checked the search feature, but was unable to find what I was looking for. I am just wondering if there is a write-up anywhere about how to install an EDIS system on your 240z. Mainly, I am looking for what oarts were used, and exactly how to go about the process. Pictures of the completed install would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks, ~The Good Humor Man
  6. So, I had a tracker a while back that the headlights would turn on as soon as the e-brake was let down. Is there anyway to set up the headlights on my Z so they will turn on when the car is started? I dont know if this has been talked about before, I just think it would be a little easier. I turn them on all the time anyays. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  7. What are each of these for? I am in the process of removing the wiring and deleted a bunch of stuff. I figured I would ask before trying to trace the wiring to save myself a headache. What does each of these go to... Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  8. I wouldnt be surprised if it did at one point. The VIN in the engine bay doesnt even match the vin on the door frame or dash. Do you think it went to that or something? Do you think it might have been the thermo switch? Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  9. What are they? I am trying to clean up the wiring on my car, so I am trying to figure out what these wires go to. I do not see them at all on my wiring diagrams. What are they?!?!?! Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  10. Do you know what brake setup (calipers and rotors) that I would use for this?
  11. I have a set of flat caliper adaptors from a 84 maxima. I have heard that they will be a bolt on upgrade for s30s. Does anyone have any pics of how to mount them (which direction to face?)? Also, they are the flat adaptors. What rotors and calipers would I end up using for these? I have searched but couldnt find any information for the flat adaptors but I have heard that they will work. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  12. Trevor, Thank you very much. I should be having a running (or should I stay stopping) Zed thanks to you. I will post pics when it is all said and done. Thanks ~The Good Humor man
  13. Please people. I know someone out there knows which ones I need. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  14. I was going to a junk yard today to pick up some caliper adaptors from a maxima for my 72 Z, I was just wondering if there was a difference between the front and the rear brackets. Which ones do I need? If they are the same, I just might pick up both. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  15. Will do. I was going to change the oil as soon as I got back to California. I am not driving it while it is in its current state. I luckily left the car on all night and drained the battery. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  16. Well, I think I will eventually get rid of my mechanical fuel pump all together, but I am going to wait until I put my fuel cell in and just put a good electric fuel pump in then. For now though, I am going to splurge and get a new fuel pump. Hopefully, I will have an sr20 shortly after I get my fuel cell anyway. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  17. I imagine you speak of the mechanical fuel pump? I have one floating about in the garage here somewhere. what would cause this to happen? Was it the diaphragm like I had thought? Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  18. I got my oil changed because I was smelling lots of fuel in my oil. It looked like brand new while making my trip to California from Portland Oregon. It ran fine for a while but now I am getting horrible gas mileage and when I check the oil, it gets more black everytime and it smells horribly of fuel again. What could it be. I am lost. I heard about the mechanical furl pump diapraghm breaking and spitting fuel into the oil. How likely is that? Let me know as soon as you can. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  19. Thats what I thought. I just wanted to make sure that way I wouldnt have any problems once all of it was done. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  20. I have heard horror stories for quite some time about them leaking and spurting fuel into your oil. It has finally happened to me. The diapraghm on my mech fuel pump has decided to give out and now I am getting horrible gas mileage. I checked the oil and it just suddenly got really dark and it smells like fuel very bad and my oil pressure is going way up. I want to get rid of my fuel pump altogether. I am aware that I am going to need a block off of some sort where that fuel pump used to be. What pressure would I need to make sure that the electric fuel pump needs to be to make sure that I get all of the needed fuel? Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  21. would this have anything to do with the carburettor? None of the rear cylinders are dropping the rpms when I disconnected the spark plug wires. My friend said that the rpms dropped on the first three but nothing happened on the last three. Let me know what I can do. Please, I am desperate. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  22. It might save some time, but I think I have a complete wiring harness in my garage. I can take pictures in the morning for all to see. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  23. Thanks for the youtube link lbhsbZ. Also, Datsun350Z, Are you aware of any way to bond metal to glass, or would I have to drill through? Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  24. Datsun350Z: I have kept that in mind. But, if one gas strut can keep up the entire hatch then I am certain that one on each side should hold up well. lbhsbZ: What did you type in to find the video of the car? Can you post the link? Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
  25. Sparks, thanks for finding this. I know now that I am going to do this (of course, when I have the money) I think it is very nice looking and I dont need the functionality of the whole trunk area. Also, CarFan, Thank you for the photoshop. I couldnt do better if I worked at it for 6 months. Thanks ~The Good Humor Man
