  1. any other options? anyone know of the ebay seller that use to make em?
  2. Yes I did see that link recently. I should have specified in hoping to find a serp and V configuration. It's asking alot I know
  3. I know it's been discussed a bit, but I'm looking for my options. I saw someone was making them and selling them on fleebay, but I can't find his posts anymore. And that post was a couple years old. Any other ways of doing it without taking things to a machine shop? I know there is multiple ways of getting it done that way. I even had one but ended up cracking it (don't ask). Anyways, thank you in advance.. Also, this will be for a L20b.
  4. i wouldn't put it in a 280zx, maybe a 280z, but the zx isn't my kinda z untill 91! stock turbo location wouldn't be a deal breaker either, so its just a matter of picking a classy datsun/nissan to change it up a bit
  5. i'm thinking about selling my 300zxtt shell and finishing building my vg engine to go in something else. about a year ago i bought a 77 280z for my fiance, and i'm getting the itch for something a bit more classic. i love something unique. asking for idea's for something that deserves 500hp and it MUST be rwd or awd. thinking 510 coupe, 510 wagon, possible s30, would love a classic skyline, but i expect that would be difficult to find.
  6. hell ya! im going to be in oahu too. my buddy and i got a condo at the hawaiin monarch on Nui street. are you bringing your Z?
  7. ya i haven't bought the kit yet jnjdragracing, im still in the mainland and i don't have my van yet. but if i do decide to buy something i'll let ya know! so there really isn't any other "kits" out there with a better rep? i guess the worst that could happen is the turbo's go. that shouldn't have any after affects on the engine right? so maybe its worth a shot. assuming the welds on the manifolds are ok.
  8. ya it was like 650 for everything.. including the turbo's. i'll look more into it, but if i bought that kit and found some used z32 turbo's i would feel a little better. assuming they will bolt up. i have never worked on any other turbo car so this will be an adventure.
  9. ya thats pretty much what i would expect to hear. i'm moving to hawaii in 7 days. i'll have a condo and be a full time student again. so where am i gonna be working on my van.... (in the parking lot). can't really fab to much there, even if i had a welder and the tools i need! is there any options that i haven't thought about yet?
  10. very interesting... i have heard the name SSautochrome and i have been warned as well. i like the "look" of their parts in the pics, looks professional but like you said, who knows. its a little strange that they make stuff for chevy and ford, but nothing for a dodge. at least for turbo manifolds...
  11. hey guys, i have a 300zxTT and it gave me the idea to twin turbo a v8 in a van when i move to hawaii. so i was wondering where a guy would go to buy a set of turbo manifolds for a V8! every forum that i have read has fab'ed ones but i won't have the tools or time for fab work... i love boost and i need a mobile garage when i move so a van is perfect for my sleeper idea.
