  1. Uh...Apparently you missed where he said he is researching other CAS options and wants to make the design as flexible as possible. I even provided optical CAS dimensional data to him at HIS request.
  2. Nice...especially the ITB's. What kind of displacement does it have? I have a similar setup engine but with a GT35R T3 .63 A/R and a single throttle body. I've never had it dyno'ed but even with my crappy tune it produces enough power to put a nice big grin on my face every time I drive it. I do believe it's running out of air up top though...
  3. I'm going to attempt to fix what I got. Thanks for the offers!
  4. I'm looking for both left and right inner quarter window trims for my 240. Not sure if 260/280 will fit. Prefer red so I don't have to paint them but will consider other colors.
  5. Rags - Is your plan to duplicate the original or beef it up?
  6. I'd be interested depending on price. I assume you are talking about a cover that fits a z31 LSD with the additional oil reservoir and cooling fins.
  7. Drive down to Austin if you have the time. It's well worth the trip! The music scene is incredible and the surrounding Hill Country is very nice too.
  8. I don't know if those will fit in a 240 but I'm interested. How much do you want for them?
  9. Very Cool! I was thinking about doing something similar since I have access to a 3D printer at work. What material is that? Ours does ABS in multiple colors.
  10. I'm looking for two 240z clocks, non-working, to use for aftermarket gauge mounting. Let me know what you got.

I'm sure you have moved on, but to answer your question, yes. The ECU outputs 5v.
  12. Thanks John, I'll try that.
  13. That's what I initially thought. I've checked it several times. It's all tight. It sounds like something is bending then popping back. I'm wondering if its the structure of the car.
  14. So I'm getting a strange sound coming from the rear of the car when accelerating hard from a stop. The best I can describe it is an oil can pop sound "BONK, bonk." Best I can tell it only happens on hard take-off so it seems torque related. I checked under the car and nothing is noticeably loose. My car is a highly modified '72 240z turbo with a z31 lsd, 280z mustache bar with poly bushings, RT front diff mount with a poly mount to the diff, Z31 CV's and shortened half shafts. Any ideas what this could be?
  15. I only notice mine at idle and startup (prime) when it's relatively quiet in the cabin. I mounted it to the rear suspension crossmember on a custom with vibe dampers. Where did you mount yours?
  16. The differential is in and the car is back in action! I've been breaking in the gear set over the past week, trying to stay out of the throttle. Man it's hard; the car wants to go like a bat outta hell! There are a few issues to work out: 1) The tune needs lots of work. My AFR's jump around a lot, even at some crusing speeds. Just need to spend some qualty time with it. 2) I'm getting a lot of buzzing after it warms up at the fuel filter mount on my firewall. It only happens when the car is warmed up at idle. The filter is clean. Not sure what's going on. It may be that the A1000 pump is just too choked off at idle. I have 5/8" feed and 1/2" return lines so you wouldn't think that is the case. I do have a pump speed controller which isn't set up yet, right now it runs full speed all the time. It should should help as it will reduce the pump speed by up to 50% at idle, thus lowering the fuel pressure and stress on the pump. It also means I have to re-map the ECU but that *should* be pretty straight forward.
  17. I wanted to see what you guys think of this ad. I have my doubts, especially the statement "The N42 Head is the only one that CAN BE PORTED for Racing Applications." http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/4883001332.html
