  1. i have 2 but getting ready to sell one to finish the second one
  2. I tried to search for an answer and came up with nothing yet so I figure I would ask out loud. Im looking to use some redrilled stub axles I have presently mounted on my 510. Can they be swapped into a 240z since I don't want to waste the arp studs that are mounted already on my 510 stub axles. The car had some junky 4 to 5 lug wheel adapters that just dont look safe to run for more than a short trip around the block and I want to drive her around now since I have her running so well after many years of sitting inside someones garage for the past 14 years, mind you the car has imsa flares with 12" wide wheels with a 3.5" backspacing so I will need at least a 1 inch wheel spacer to kick out the wheel to fill the flares conrad
  3. Sorry for no updates but I have been working on getting her more of a driver than a lawn ornament in front of my house. car last ran sometime in the early 90's i think I did take some more pic of the flares conrad
  4. so whats the offset of those wheels you have on there, I have a imsa flared z that I'm looking for wheels to fill them out
  5. great weather but everything else about being a carguy in cali sucks smog nazi and gun trigger happy cops
  6. sorry for no updates I have been busy with the brake on the car so I can get her driving again, I want to drive her to the June 27th Z show at blackhawk BTW: anyone in the SF bay area have a airflow meter I can borrow... Conrad
  7. almost forgot to add that I'm looking to replace the front fiberglass pieces since they had converted it into a one piece flip up unit which is a bitch to work on:icon_frow:icon_frow any vendors out there for the original pieces
  8. well guys this is my first official Z, I have always had 510s but always lusted after this particular z, I was heavily influenced with the IMSA Z that raced in the mid 80s to early 90s... Price was right for me FREE:p:p:p Was built around the mid to late 80s and lived most of its life in the south san jose area next to IBM, can we say Bailey rd:-P:-P:-P Anyways I wanted to see if anyone knew more about this car as I would like to know a little history about it Conrad 650-302-5127 antioch,ca
  9. Dosquattro, I too have a vr4 that I DD and I to am presently doing a few swaps into another vr4 with all evo 8 motor/driveline and suspension and brakes, basically put a vr4 body onto a evo chassis and call it good, the other project is a '64 fairlady roadster with RWD 4g63 turbo power, I have yet to decide on what transmission I want to use as there is a guy locally that has a 4g64 block that will work with a starion transmission w/o any mods, he says that the block came from a lancer? Can't verify it yet as I don't have the motor. Wow seems like datsuns and mitsu's do mix much to the sr20/510 crowd.. good luck with the swap and I hope to post up some pix of the other swap with a datsun 620 pickup with the VH45 in it!!!!!
