  1. North Wilkesboro, 1.5 hrs up the road from you.
  2. I haven't posted in several months now since getting the other 300Z running. Anyways, I picked up another 300 yesterday. It isn't the prettiest but has a lot of nice upgrades. The engine runs really strong, it has a Turbonetics T04 turbo, bigger injectors and 03 Cobra MAF, 3" stainless exhaust, some nice looking intercooler kit, and some other things that I can't remember right now. Here are some pics of my latest car along with my other 300.
  3. Update: Ended up selling the 434 a few weeks ago before I ever got around to installing it. Tossed around the idea of a 2JZ for a few weeks, but finally went with another small block Chevy. The latest engine is a 355 roller engine with bowtie heads, 14:1 compression, 684 lift cam, and bunches of other goodies. I hope to have it running in a few days. The car this engine came from was running 5:60s in the 1/8 mile. Anyway, here are some pics of the engine installed:
  4. Beats me! Sure looks like it should be from the picture you posted. This is how the car was when I bought it. This is my first Z car and I was only trying to help. As you can see, it is not your typical 300ZX. Here's another picture:
  5. Here are some pics of the rack. Let me know if you need anything else.
  6. Are you going to wrap the exhaust where it goes under the transmission pan? I would be worried about it heating up the pan.
  7. Yep, it had a 468ci sbc before. I've ran 67mm turbos on the other two trucks I built. I'm gonna go with something a little bigger on the Z. I would like to shoot for around 900hp on this one. That's some really nice looking work that you've done on your car. Looks very professional.
  8. Where's your speedometer? Your gauge setup is similar to mine. Here's a pic:
  9. My 86 has a manual rack from a 280. My wife is out of town with our camera so if you want I'll snap some pics when she gets back on Monday.
  10. That's all I've been doing. I haven't owned a V8 domestic engine in over 25 years!! Here are a few of my latest swaps: Toyota Tacoma SRunner with 2JZ Supra swap http://www.supratrucks.com/S-Runner%202JZGTE.htm 2000 Tacoma ProStreet with 2JZ Supra swap http://webpages.charter.net/dbcaudill/latest_project.htm 92 Toyota Pickup (beater dd) with 7MGTE Supra swap http://webpages.charter.net/dbcaudill/toyota_pickup_with_7mgte_supra_t.htm
  11. I'm tired of doing the same thing (Supra engine swaps) so I set out looking for something a little different. Came across this last week and couldn't resist the temptation. It is being delivered today As you can see it currently is without an engine. I can't wait to drop my 434ci sbc nitrous motor/powerglide in it. Should make for some fun times. It is still street legal after I switch to M/T ET Streets. I hope to have it up and running soon. Here are some pics:
